What would you guys do? If you were a first round prospect (let's say projected to go around #20 overall), would you go to the draft since it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and you get to spend time with your peers in NYC? Or would you rather stay at home and spend the time/moment with your family?

For me personally I would go to NYC with my mom, grandfather and grandmother. Spend time with my peers is nice, but it wouldn't be my main reason for going.

I don't care If I was going first overall I am getting down with with people, kegs, and a hog roasting. ESPN cameras would welcome if any of the footage would be tame enough for TV....

heheh..

Agreed. Shea McClellin probably will be wasting his time as well on first day. Still awesome that they get to see it though.

The draft has changed into a TV "weekend" special now. Some of these kids know they will most likely go in the second, and perhaps even as late as the third.

In which case for the ones that drop to day 2 they will get all the air time. Not a bad deal at all.
