I just wanted to see if we could do the same thing we did last week again. I didn’t need a mudshow spectacle. 
 

The Titans won, once again snuffing out much room for enjoyment this week. Let’s just get through this one as safely as we can.

I like games played in perfect weather. Cold games don’t bother me but this game tonight just seems way worse then just a rain storm. Especially when we have Titans next week.

Someone who lives is SF who is from nashville says that fans from SF are over reacting that it isn’t that bad. Maybe that is true since they aren’t used to it.

Those watching tonight’s game expecting to see some type of biblical-like flooding, I’m not sure it’s going to be that bad.   But I suppose it’s possible. 
 

But I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you have experienced these kind of conditions yourself.   Terrible rain in Northern California may not be terrible in Indiana or in most any other state.   It’s somewhat relative.  But for Nor Cal, this is expected to be among the worst ever.  
 

We’ll find out in a few hours…..

That pic you just showed of the guy leaving his hotel honestly I could barely see anything. Didn't look bad to me. They aren't used to real bad weather out there. That's regular weather in the Gulf.

Maybe we should provide players an umbrella man each. Golfers get caddies so footballers should get brellas. They can choose which umbrella to use on each play. The classic umbrella, or perhaps a sneaky push button pop out for the trickery.

There was a lot of tree limbs down in the video but the rain didn’t look bad. Rain is supposed  to pick up.

Cali overreacting.... I'm shocked!!!! lol...

 

I have friends in SD, LA burbs, and SF. Spoke to all of them this weekend and the ones in SF yesterday and a little bit ago. Nothing big. Rain and some wind. A few downed tree limbs. I think they said something about some scaffolding down in downtown. The did say the wind is supposed to dissipate when the game starts. Still expect both teams to RTDB. I think you'll see SF use a platoon RB effort. Probably us too.

There was a family in my neighborhood named Ressler.  They had a son much older than me.  My older brother (of 12 years) had me convinced it was the Glenn Ressler that played for the Colts.  We also had a family business customer named John Fogarty.

One plus about these conditions is that it should really slow down the 49ers pass rush.  With that said I don’t know how many passes you are going to see either team try in this.

Played in heavy rain, snow, and wind. Ironically after I switched to cross country I experienced a whole new level of ridiculousness when we raced in whiteout conditions. Could barely see my own hands.

 

I agree with you. Nor Cal does not see this type of weather often. This is as close to "hurricane like" as you can get for the region. I'm more worried about all the potential landslides after so much drought and wildfires.
