Looks like the Colts are getting some early action in this one. The line is down to 3.5.

These two teams are probably pretty even. SF clearly has the better pass rush. Looks like Jimmy G will be starting. We won’t be facing a elite QB and they don’t have Kittle. We should have a better chance in this one then the ravens game. I just don’t like they are coming off the bye week. We will have played two games since their last game.

seems like when we would come off the bye week we didn't play as well, so hopefully it will be the same for the 9ers

49ers are hard to figure out granted when you are 2-4 you can't underestimate anyone

Hopefully the offense is efficient because I can already tell it’s going to be a frustrating game on defense.

Jimmy G is much much better than he's getting credit for here. His stats and win/loss record are far better than people realize.

 

His problem is he can't stay on the field not what he does when hes out there. Hes already missed a game this season due to injury.

 

Ill be surprised if he doesn't light this defense up but, to be fair, I expected Mills to have a career day too. Hopefully, I'm wrong again.

He’s pretty good, but he doesn’t have the luxury of a strong running game like he did a few years ago when they went to the Super Bowl. Without Kittle, the only real playmaker he has now is Deebo. That doesn’t bode well for their offense since their rushing game is pretty bad outside of Trey Lance’s contributions. We SHOULD be able to hold that offense in check. That said, we’re completely capable of blowing it. Hopefully our guys bring it this game.

Colts and SF are probably a lot alike. Both teams are better then their records most likely. SF has lost 3 in a row which makes this game dangerous for the Colts. Jimmy G isn’t a elite QB but he is above average. He is a step below Wentz in my opinion.  It will hurt them not having Kittle and does hell the colts a little. Need to stop Samual. Hopefully Ayeuk doesn’t come alive.

49ers don't have much of a run game with all their backs on IR. Lance was their biggest rushing threat. Going to be paramount to get pressure on JG and make him uncomfortable in the pocket. Helps that Kittle is out too.

Today I am going to spend some time listening to some SF podcasts. It’s always fun to see what the enemy is thinking of the colts. I am following a really good one on Twitter too. He always has common sense takes about his team.

Kittle is an enormous loss for Garoppolo.  That's his security blanket.

 

What makes SF so dangerous on offense is the way they have a bunch of guys who can catch it and RAC underneath.  And Shanahan is so creative he moves them all over to include the offensive backfield to get them matchups vs mouth breathers.  I point that out because the end result is confusion during sub groups because is that guy a RB or a WR.

 

But if the DC is on his game he should be able to adjust and they're short handed.  Over a full 60 I have to expect the Colts offense to do a lot of good things to include enough to win.  I'd take the Colts in this one with the points.
