The Brady Luck continues

Wow,

His arm was ruled as not going forward to pass in that snowy game against the Raiders…Russell Wilson gives him the Super Bowl Victory with that cheesy pass when they should have run it into the end zone…Atlanta choked…and last night…well, you’ve got to beat the GOAT by more points than a field goal to win the game.

Wow!

Max Kellerman said today that luck is the residue of design.  I liked that.

I had a friend say to me once on the soccer field when a player's kick hit the crossbar that she was unlucky.  My friend said, no that's skill.  A better kick, just a little lower and it is a goal.

After all the scandals and former players coming out etc...etc... do we really honestly think its luck?

As for last night's game, I didn't watch it. I didn't think there was much of a chance that BOTH TEAMS WOULD LOSE.  And that would have been the only outcome that I would have enjoyed.  haha

Ugh, the Tuck rule was called right period. It was a terrible rule but it was called right.  Sherman KNEW that play was coming and told Butler look out for it.

Brady also threw for 505 yards and 5 TDs and lost to the Eagles. So that was bad luck. He also led game winning drives with 2 minutes or less against THe Giants and lost both.  Last night BB should have gone for it on 4th and 3

Thanks for the input you guys.

A lot can be said about the Ol’ GOAT and his past.

I could have said more but you guys did. I wish I could have seen the reaction of the once Brady fans, now, haters when the ball hit the goal post.

Ah, the Monday morning blues!

You do know they cheered him loudly before the game right? They the. Booed him loudly during the game which made him smile.   As for our faces I wasn’t shocked he missed it, Folk only hit from that deep once 12 years ago and it was in Denver.  So I’d been shocked if he hit it.

Me too. You're not making a 56 yarder with folk.. especially in the rain. I'm surprised he's still with the pats

Did Bill say why he chose the FG?

Not a lot of haters around here... it's pretty similar to when Manning left Indy for Denver. I'm still a Patriots fan first but my expectations for the team this year are fairly low, and that was a 56-yarder that I didn't think Folk was going to hit anyway. If anything I was surprised he was that close. Guy is consistent but doesn't have a huge leg.

Outside of that, I'd still like to see Brady do well.

As for the whole "luck" angle, you don't "luck" your way into what Brady has accomplished as a player, in my opinion.

Two years before he moved to Tampa is when I realized that he was headed towards being know as the GOAT.

Winning consistently over the years is something to appreciate.

I may be the only one that wanted other defenses to smash him up, knock his block off, or chop him up at the knees but with his injuries he had, he always came back to win.

I kinda want that…smash, knock, chop still for other QBs but in my advanced years I have softened up on QBs around the league…kinda.

The only other word I could have used instead of “ luck” was a “curse” on the Raiders, Falcons, Russell Wilson, and the field goal kicker.

I’ll stick with “luck”.

As for Eli, talk about beating him twice in the big game!…luck or, what?

I was for Tampa last year and the media has shown more of his down to earth, normal, and crazy side. If he takes the Bucs to the Super bowl again, if not against our Colts, I will want the Bucs to win one more time.

Go, Colts!
