I've stated before this weekend is their one of 3 chances to lose this year.

Rams

Bills

Panthers

We have a tougher NFC schedule than they do this year...

You arent wronghaha they have 1 for sure playoff NFC competing team (LAR), 2 maybe (NO, CAR) and then 4 well crap one of them need to make it (NYG, PHI, WFT, DAL). We have 3 for sure play Competing teams (LAR, SEA, TB), 1 if they stay healthy competing playoff team (SF), and one could see it, but need to get over the hump (AZ). so that 4 potential compared to 5 for us

I like LAR this week. A little.

Offense - both have great passing Os, but TB is near last in rushing. LAR isn't great, but better rushing than TB.

Defense - TB is great vs the run, awful vs the pass.

I'm tempted to say it's going to be about D, but then I kick myself and think it's going to be all about both QBs.

LAR at home by a TD or less. Likely goes down to last series. Stafford needs to get the monkey off his back and beat a big time team, with a big time QB.

My sense too. I don't trust Stafford.

I don't trust the Football Gods :D

Here's the way I see it. I know it's still extremely early in season. I'd say the rams are the biggest threats to brady and home field advantage.... so does Brady prefer to be 1.5 games behind the rams OR 1.5 games ahead of. the rams???

Obviously you would think brady & the powers that be would rather see brady ahead in the race for HFA.

But like I said it's still extremely early and its NOT A MUST WIN but more a preferred win.

I really think the Niners are more of a threat than the Rams but time will tell.

Rams will win tomorrow IMO. It is just an upset in the making. I could be wrong but we will see. I still see the Bucs going something like 14-3.

I would normally say trap game with the Patriots being next week.. a normal human being may tend to look past an opponent in this situation, which is arguably the most anticipated match in sports history.

But with that said Tom Brady isn't a normal human being. Robots don't forget the task at hand. And his teammates have borrowed some of his powers so, they'll get by LA.

Scotty Miller coming in for AB will have a standout game

See I think the Bucs beat the Pats, Tom proves his point again but today I am rolling with the Rams.

I really wanted Stafford but his price was high. The Colts ceiling would of been higher with Stafford since Wentz is still having the same issues that he had in Philly

I wanted Stafford as well. I never wanted Wentz but having said that Wentz has been better than average but Stafford is good. Stafford was just stuck in sucky Detroit. I picked the Rams today and look so far so good. Rams IMO are a top 5 team with ease now.

I guess Brady preferred to lose,   like he had any choice

Actually this game was predictable with it being in LA but some people love ol' Tommy haha. Tom usually loses a few games in the regular season on the road and I thought this would be one of them. I really wanted Stafford here but it is what it is.

The bucs will be fine and will be in the mix for a super bowl.   My comment was about the ridiculous notion that the game was pre determined.

What's confusing?  This is your post.   You mention if Brady would prefer to be 1.5 games up or down.   (Is that really a question)

Then you mention Brady and (the powers that be) would rather him having the 1.5 game advantage.

So rather than clicking the confused emoji,  why not explain your post?

When picking games it's more or less guess work on which teams win. I guessed brady would go undefeated this season.... obviously that's not happening.

I still stand behind my prediction that brady will go to the super bowl and would have preferred to being 1.5 games up instead of 1.5 behind.

But like I said it's still extremely early in season and not a must win situation.

The only thing off the table is the undefeated regular season.

Lol

Rams a whole level beyond Tampa, puts our close loss to them in perspective

Yes. One of our TDs was set up by good defense followed by a special teams TD. You have to play a complete game against a more balanced team like the Rams. Stafford vs Goff, I think this was the game they wanted to see if Stafford was worth the investment, and Stafford showed he was, IMO. So many key completions not letting the Bucs get back into the game, played like the seasoned vet that he is.

Of course he would rather be  +1.5 than -1.5.   Who wouldn't ?   Then you said the powers that be would want that.   Who would that be?

Rams treated that game like it was the SB.  Did you see McVay jumping up and down on the sidleline?

Good win for them.  I still thought Stafford was shaky as the Bucs had a couple of picks they flat out dropped but overall their team is a force.  I am excited to see how they match up vs the rest of the teams in the West.
