Both Packers and Titans laid eggs...Bills didnt do so well either as Pitts is supposed to be 3rd at best in AFC North and Ben is supposed to be all but done

Pittsburgh's defense is top flight man. It's their oline that is the issue with that team. That defense won a lot of games for them last year too.

Personally, I gotta go with Tennessee. Green Bay is a very close second.

Green Bay lost by 35 to Jamies Winston.

Rodgers losing 38-3 shocked the heck out of me, to me that was the biggest flop. I don't think the Titans are an elite team. It amazes me how most people thought the addition of Julio Jones would make them Elite lmao . Tannehill isn't a top 5 QB in this league, never has been, never will be, I have never seen him in anyone's top 7. He was average in Miami and didn't start playing well until he teamed with Henry.  They will lose again this week to Seattle. Elite teams are the  Bucs, Chiefs, Packers, Bills. Bills lost but barely - Steelers are never a pushover, Packers looked horrible! Seahawks because of Wilson are borderline Elite.

Hate to say it... but Green Bay. All the offseason drama, and the rekindling lead to that?! that was awful. And Aaron also cost me my fantasy game haha:violin:

Ditto!  Are you going to start him this week?  I'm torn, and Wentz is my back-up QB.  I know if I bench Rodgers that he'll go off and score 40 fantasy points.  If I start him, he may very well repeat his week 1 performance.

I would start him again.

Hands down the Titans run away with this trophy. Derrick Henry 58 yards. Teams apparently know how to shut him down as we started to see last season. Anxious to see how they fare in their next game.

You sure?   His rushing yards in his last 7 games last season:

133

178

60

215

147

98

250

I'll go with the Packers.

58 yards on opening day this season and 40 yards vs. Baltimore last season the the AFC Wild Card Game is what I was referring to. I'm by no means saying he is through but disappointing numbers to TN fans.

My bad, I thought you meant the second half of last season.

I feel you.. But IMO yes I'm starting him this week against the Lions and I think Wentz and the Colts are gonna struggle even more this :( :peek:

Then the Falcons lost to the Eagles. Are the Falcons going to disappoint again this year?

Pitt's D is solid but again picked 3rd in North and many tabbed Bills as AFC favorites, sure didnt look that way

    • So uh...   Adam Schefter came out with a report that after this season is all wrapped up and finished, it could be ten... TEN total head coaches fired for the season counting McDaniels and Reich...    That would be record breaking wouldn't it?
    • But they are good teams generally playing good football across the whole season?   It’s fine you don’t agree with me, but don’t put words in my mouth or intentionally misrepresent my point.    Last year we played some god-awful football. The whole season. Yet when we were 3-4-1 people were still talking about the playoffs only looking at the standings and completely ignoring how terribly we actually played.    The game we had against the Chiefs in week 3 was some of the worst football I’ve ever seen. I came away with the feeling that it wasn’t the Colts winning that game but the Chiefs losing it. Yet some people here were proudly proclaiming us better than the Chiefs… who went on to win the SB   Now, we played a lot better against the Ravens this year when we won, but still had some lucky breaks. People here proclaimed us better than the Ravens after that game. The Ravens are the #1 seat and we’re 7th.    Someone has already said they hope we get the Chiefs or the Ravens this season if we get into the playoffs because “We got their number”. Lol.    A month ago the playoffs were a long shot. Now, because of Burrow’s injury and Mark Andrews’ and more it’s looking like a real possibility.    My point, and pay attention now, so you don’t misrepresent it again, is I want the Colts to win on their own merits not because of luck or other teams’ misfortune.
    • What the heck happened to KJ Hamler?
    • He's a rookie HC and it's probably too early to make some huge proclamation but so far so good. He's checking a lot of the boxes I want our HC to be checking and the areas of the team that most depend on his expertise are doing above expectations based on the talent we have. How are we scoring so much with Minshew play at the putrid level he's been playing for most of the season is beyond me.    I don't know if it's still honeymoon time and I'm not focusing too much on his mistakes(because just like any coach he will make mistakes too), but I never feel worried or anxious about what he's going to call offensively. Purely subjectively, his playcalling just ... feels right. It feels like the offense is in rhythm, feels like he's switching things around and keeping the opponent on their heels. It never feels to me like the opponent knows exactly what we are going to run and is ready to stop it play after play... like the situation was last year.    His offensive coaching hires have been great too... the OL seems to be back on track with the new OL coach(props to him too BTW - finally was able to stop the slide of otherwise talented unit). He seems to be running a good operation with his assistants and QB coach. Just... in general the Colts seem like a well coached team. A team that you will have to work hard to beat, even if our talent is probably not at the level of some of the current juggernauts in the league.    With all that said... I really hope Ballard doesn't come away from this year with the impression that the offense is fine and he doesn't need to invest in it. NO! On the contrary. When you have what seems like a great offensive mind, you don't sit on it - you go get the guy the best talent you can find in order to make that offense not just good(which it is right now), but dominant. Go get a legit no. 1 receiver if you can... go get a TE who can stretch the field and/or make plays after the catch... hell... if you love a RG in the draft... spend a 3d rounder to totally solidify that line and eliminate what seems to be the only weakness/question mark or give the line some much needed depth. Just... in general... don't be complacent with the offense.
    • I think Kelly will come back next year health permitting.  He is due to make the most that he ever has and its quite a bit more than every season he played besides this one.
