Agreed. No idea why Colts fans have such negative view of Levis. I have my issues with him, but he is a good QB prospect with some very nice tools. He very well might turn out to be the best QB of this bunch. To some degree that's true, but usually players get better with experience, especially when they start at such a low point as Richardson. You can argue that season Richardson just had is a falling on his face season at least when it comes to his accuracy. I stumbled on Levis last year while watching the WRs and "scouting" WanDale Robinson. I thought Levis is a great prospect. He seemed to have everything one might want from a QB... and he still does have everything. I have e bit of a disappointment that he didn't take a step forward in certain areas, but you are right that his situation was far from perfect this year - pretty bad OL play, his best receiver left for the NFL, he suffered injuries and decided to play through them rather than sit... I wonder where they will end up on draft day. It's still possible a lot of the noise is just that - noise and Richardson for example falls to the teens or 20s. I think a lot of the NFL media doesn't watch college tape at all and they start watching once the NFL season is over. This is when you started hearing the "well, actually, Richardson might be a bit more advanced than he's advertised". I had him ruled out too after I watched the Kentucky game early in the season. But then I came back with more critical eye after our season was over and found more encouraging things than just his athleticism. Agreed. I think they are both QBs with high level upside and I'd be good if we end up with any of them.

Yeah but none of the qbs have this drool ladies, Jimmy G or Levis can't compete with this. -

Yeah I guess I can join most people now. I at least have Gonzaga left lol. Houston even lost. -
And if Houston pulled a typical Texan move like that im hoping Ballard makes the exception and takes Bryce Young. Yeah hes short but like Saban said the NFL is pretty much all the same guys he competed against in the SEC. I just think Bryce has it factor sauce and he checks every single box Steichen mentioned. Accurate, decision making, mobile and can rip it for an easy completion on 3rd and 8. He can avoid big hits bc hes so cerebral. Will have pressure packages figured out pre snap and he just processes whats going on so quickly. Plus hes tough. Ive seen him take a shot or two and get right back up.

You are correct. It cost the same if you cut him now or at the end of camp. Him being on the roster has zero with who is going to be drafted. So what's the hurry?
