Reich just said that Wentz injury was the best case scenario. On Pat mcafee he said there are things you can’t tell from the mri until you get in there. Sounds like Wentz might be back in five weeks.

Oh really. Well Reich is kind of hinting at that. He said he talked to Wentz after surgery and he is already preparing for the game.

Problem is Carson will push to come back quick, and possibly too early. Happened in 2018. His injury was min a year and a half recovery process and he was pushing and came back in 8 months. This is one reason he keeps getting injuried. Hes coming back too early. As a Eagles fan, yes I want him to come back quick. As a Carson fan, I want him to get as much rest as he can to make sure he doesnt come back too early and results in an ending season injury.

I do worry that if he is  having some pain and decide to play on it he could compensate and end up injuring another area of your body. Hopefully Wentz pain will go away quick.

For 27M a year you rub some dirt on it and deal with the pain.

Initially, I had the same concern as you.

 

But if we can believe what Frank is telling us, and I have no reason not to, it sounds like he can play even if he's having pain.  And it will not aggravate or complicate the injury.

 

I worry a lot less about him coming back to early than I do about Big Q.  He has a lot more weight on those feet, and they get stepped on a lot more.

I agree.  I think both he and Nelson will be ready to go week one.
