Yup. I'm gonna say their QB is more overrated than the team though. Pentix who was injured last year, was supposed to come back and be good. He's got 3 INTs, and 2 were pick 6s lol.... Without that, it's 10-14... ifs and buts though...

Well my old school barely loss to Oklahoma State. In other news Oklahoma State looks overrated being #22. My old school made so many errors and are FCS and it came down to last play

Boston College- I know it was just Colgate but Jurkovec can play QB and the D pitched a shutout. 4-0 going into Clemson game is very possible.

 

South Alabama-Manhandled S Miss 31-7 in what was a 1 point betting line, Jake Bentley formerly of Utah last season and South Carolina for 3 seasons before that could lead this club to a winning record

He's great if he's got time. He still has placement issues. He'll do well at BC though.

That was a great ending, saw it play out. Leach'es squads can upset most anyone but can also lay an egg vs bad teams.

Well, tough start for IU and Louisville.  Expected better from both these teams.  Some are already calling for a coaching change at Louisville.

Penix was really the only horrible issue to me. And Iowa has a very good D.

I expect the tune up with Idaho to help, but the bad news is, Cinci has a better D than Iowa lol..

I think Iowa can upset Iowa State from what I saw from both squads.

 

My lock of the week is Air Force spotting Navy 6 (For entertainment purposes only...)  Navy was destroyed by Marshall 49-7 (I know total yards were closer then score but 42 point loss), they have lost 6 in a row going back to last season and lost to Air Force 40-7 last season. Air Force opened with a 35-14 tune over an over matched Lafayette squad. Take the Falcons.

App St-Miami- Hurricanes may not bounce back from that beating. App St is no pushover

 

NC State-Miss St-Bulldogs barely escaped while Wolfpack looked pretty dominant albeit vs a bad bad USF squad

 

Utah-BYU- Always a fun one when the meet

 

Tenn-Pitt-Johnny Majors Bowl- Joe Milton didnt look as good as Vols wanted in week 1 so Pitt favored going into this one.

Greg Schiano has Rutgers at 2-0 beating Syracuse by double digits they will be 3-0 when they head to Mich for a big showdown

 

South Carolina 2-0 with their QB coach playing QB so far and making some good throws unfortunately for them Georgia is up next

I still think the PAC is pretty weak overall. 

KSU struggled a bit today vs the Salukies lol...

 

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing UCLA return to being good.

K state's offense struggled because QB Skylar Thompson went out early with a knee injury (It doesnt look good he may see his season end early again) and Will Howard played very bad , they had 4 turnovers at half. Their O Line and D is very stout. They will make noise in the Big 12 which seems to be the weakest Power 5 by a wide margin so far.

I'm actually a very casual fan of KSU, and aware of the QB's issue.

IMO, they always play above their talent level. 

I miss the ol ball coach...

Snyder was my favorite college coach, took the worst situation going and made them into a winner. Mostly underrated because of where he was and didnt get the national limelight, got those jc transfers and got the most from them. Klieman was a good hire 4 titles in 5 years at N.D. State I expect him to grow them each year

Snyder is in my top 5 all time CFB coaches. 

He's #1 in a few categories for me.

Good slate of games this week a few I'm most looking forward to

 

Auburn/Penn St- Auburn back to back 60 plus points (122-10 fr the season vs outclassed opponents but that is impressive). Penn state has only allowed 11.5 points per game. This one could go either way,leaning Tigers over Lions

 

Arizona St / BYU- ASU with all the scandal going on is playing some good football behind Daniels while BYU beat Utah in the Holy War for the first time in forever

 

Bama / Florida-Most down here in the sunshine state give the Gators much chance, Bama is rolling......

 

Miss State/Memphis- Shootout, a lot of points coming in this one Memphis has scored 97 in 2 games and Leach wont back down from a video game score

 

Lock of the week- Arkansas State +17 Washington.....To those not following close this season would think a Huskie win and comfortable BUT Washington is having issues scoring (8.5 points a game in a blowout loss to Mich and upset loss to FCS Montana) while Arkansas State is averaging 45 points a game (Former FSU QB James Blackmon was on fire last night), take the Red Wolves and the points

I think Satterfield is a good coach, however he still recruits like hes still coaching App state. And that isnt gonna work in the ACC.

Dang, Florida almost took out Bama. What a great game that was.

 

Was a bit disappointed with UK. Yes we won but we played absolutely horrible and probably only won because we played a very poor team. Better not play like that next week or we will get the doors blown off of us.

 

Happy for a 3-0 start of course.
