Well because she posts on Instagram. Go watch her stories. They are yourubers so yes her job is social media. I am shocked how many nfl players wives have YouTube’s. Somehow I came across issac Rochelles wife YouTube channel the other day. She is a cool lady. It’s kind of cool to see players on your team doing everyday life.

JT & his g/f have one too, but I haven't enjoyed theirs as much. It might just take a bit of time for them to figure it all out and feel more comfortable.

Anyone else get kind of strange vibe from Banogu's interview. He seemed a bit down. Maybe he's just not as sunshiny as the rest.

As was previously mentioned, I think he was just irritated by the constant questions about last year and why he was a healthy scratch.

Yeah I am not sure what JT and girlfriend are doing. Maybe they will figure it out. I laughed a lot at issac Rochelles wife . I hope that he ends up not getting cut because they went through hell getting here to Indiana. Those two just wing things. They bought a house and had so much stress getting here. They are very frugal. You would think a nfl guy would just hire a moving company. But no they didn’t.

Parris Campbells wife said she was thinking of starting hers up again.  I really enjoy seeing players on our team just doing everyday life.

Would be crazy if Holden beat Tevi.

Maybe a little surprising, but wouldn't be shocked. Tevi, Davenport, and Holden could all emerge to fill in.

Personally, I'm cheering for Tevi. Regardless, I'm hoping Qs nastiness rubs off on one of the guys.

On the one percent better podcast Zak Keefer said he was not impressed with Banogu with that media presser. He says he doesn’t see the fire in him. He also says he has a story on Campbell and how he was in a really dark place after his injury. Says he is in a much better place now.

Banogu seemed more down in the dumps to me, than irritated at the questioning. If it is the questioning that bothered him, he needs to get some media coaching from one of the vets on the team. My gut tells me he's feeling the pressure in year 3, and knows there's two rooks that are coming in hot. This is likely his last shot at making the team/rotation.

Some good stuff here. Pittmans wife must of gave birth because he missed yesterday and today. Strahan for reps with Wentz and has looked good. I hope him and Patmon both make it.

What has been said about Patmon?

Holden played better than Tevi in limited snaps last year. It's probably pretty open competition for all of them for the starting spot week 1 if Fisher is not back. I wouldn't be surprised if any of them wins it.

I wonder what happened with Carter O'Donnell? He was one of our highest paid UDFAs last year and I thought he had promising profile, we kept him on practice squad all year if I'm not mistaken. Wonder how he's developing...

CO'D - Love his upside, but he's a major project IMO. Likely needed a couple years of S&C coming in to even see what they have.

Benogu is acting like he's getting traded and honestly it wouldn't surprise me. He's giving off the same attitude as Quincy did.

I think he's more worried about making the 53 than getting traded.

I mean, what trade market is there for him. He just hasn't shown anything.

He actually looked better in 2019 than last year IMO. Both very limited snaps.

Maybe a 6th or 7th I guess.

Got a 6th for Quincy. We can get the same.

With Quincy though, he at least had 10 or so games as starter under his belt, and IMO, could be seen as decent depth.

Just not sure Banogu has risen to that level to be seen as anything but a project.

I'd love to see him emerge, just not getting the "I'm gonna break out" vibe.

It would be really nice to have another pass rush specialist even if just limited to 3rd down sets.

Sorry I forgot to post the link to Kevin’s notebook. Nothing about Patmon. It’s just Strachan has impressed.

I said it a few weeks ago, but I just get the "my ball" attitude from Strachan.

The bag on Patmon from the start was that he didn't play to his size.

Strachan, albeit against lower comp, looked to be very aggressive and played to his size.

Gonna be interesting to see how things go. I don't think we keep both on the 53 given that would make 3 guys that are 6-4 or more. And that would make a total of 4 Xs if you include Pascal in that mix.

It would make sense that only one makes it. Then Harris or Dulin is the 6th. That way we have a backup for Campbell. I do think though we might of carried 7 last year. But maybe that was because of covid. Whichever big guy doesn’t make it I hope they clear waivers to make it to the PS. From what a couple media guys said a lot of teams wanted Strachan if he wasn’t drafted. So which one could make it through waivers.

This is exactly what Keefer said. He said he doesn’t see a fighter in him. I love how Lewis said he has tried to help Ben rise up. He would know how to keep fighting because the same thing happened to him. But Rochelle has some experience and it might be hard for Ben to beat him out. He is really going to have to show some fight in TC. I still think Ben might be best suited as a OLB.

I could see us carrying 7 early in the year.

No brainers (4) - TY, Campbell, Pittman, and Pascal

5th spot (Z/Slot) - guessing Dulin OR Harris

6th spot (X) - Strachan OR Patmon

If we keep 7 it would be the best of two losers from the 5th and 6th spots lol. I think Dulin's value took a bit of a hit because of Hines and Rodgers solidifying returns spots. He still is a very good gunner. Harris is a very interesting prospect though and could compete if his route running took a big step.

I don't think Patmon or Strachan would clear waivers. They both have a great size/speed combo so some team is going to snatch them up. It would be smart to keep both on the 53 initially, then try and move one down after all the 53s are set.

I don't think Banogu will really be competing with Rochell though. Very different types/rolls. Rochell will be competing more with the big tweeners. Banogu the pass rush specialist guys. With Paye, Dayo, and Turay in the fold, not sure we have a huge need for a limited pass rush guy. Lewis, who I think will play that tweener role and slip inside to 3T on passing downs, could actually make a case to stay outside. Lots of moving parts, but bottom line Banogu needs to fight his but off. I could see us keeping him on the 53 since he's still on his rook contract, but likely the first bounced when Dayo gets back.

I think we can keep 7 because Dulin is basically ST. So maybe then we carry one less LB or cut somewhere else. I would assume Harris and Dulin would make it through waivers. Harris was pretty good last season. I liked what I saw. Your right it all comes down to who else can play that ST role. Is it more important to keep a extra LB or WR

It does seem like Lewis will be one of the starting DE. The other will probably be Paye but Kevin noted Dont rule out AQM with his experience. I really like the young dline we have now. I am really proud of Lewis turning into a really good leader. Everyone forgets he is in a contract year too. It’s going to expensive id Lewis and Turay have big years. Cap ceiling next season is 208 million but could be less then that. That is about 28 million higher. That won’t go far with all the extensions we have to sign including Fisher.

I agree.   I think he knows he’s on his way out.  His attitude is going to seal the deal.  I am not expecting him to be on the team this year.

Not that simple IMO. LB for instance... we're down Walker this year, and a lot of the LB depth are STs studs too. We'll likely keep more OL and DL on the 53 too this year for various reasons.

Dulin would be a no brainer if he were still returning. Maybe he's still valued as a depth returner, IDK. Not sure though if being a gunner is enough if he's not one of the top 6 WRs. We need a legit guy who's at least good depth at Z/traditional slot behind Campbell and TY. Dulin IMO has a leg up on Harris, but if Harris has improved his route tree, or another slot type guy steps up, Dulin could be on the outside looking in.

When Lewis talked about being a healthy scratch he talked a lot of what he did to improve ect. Mentioned how hard it was because he was never injured at OSU either. You could tell there was fight in him to get better. With Ben there is nothing. Just doesn’t want to talk about it. Every once in awhile scouts and Ballard will miss on someone. This seems to be a lot like the Wilson pick

BTW. Go check out Turays last IG post. The entire dline went to top golf yesterday. It’s Hillarious. I am still trying to figure out who the Blonde guy is. Ok ir was Windsor. I like seeing Turay fitting in so well because he always seemed like a unique guy.

I'd put some money on

Run Downs - Lewis / Buckner / Stewart / Paye

Pass Downs - Turay / Lewis / Buckner / Paye

I could see AQM getting run down snaps, but I'd guess they'd be limited to giving guys breathers.

Even if Turay and Lewis blow up, you still have options. And then you have to factor Dayo likely taking a big step into next year. IMO, Turay will be a bit limited to 3rd down snaps, so his value won't skyrocket anyway unless he's a pure monster. Lewis will get a lot of snaps, but I just don't see him being much better than Autry last year. Could be wrong. And if either blows up, their trade value goes up too if we're interested in an in-season trade. Regardless, just have to hope Paye and Dayo are legit.

I see Lewis basically as a younger autry. Unless he explodes yeah he probably won’t cost much. The thing about Turay might need to sign a one or two year deal just to prove he can stay healthy. But if he has a big year I think we need to find a way to keep him. Pass rush is everything. The good thing is he had lots of time off for the ankle but also was able to get his neck healed with all those stingers he was getting. Turay can play. He just needs to stay healthy. The good thing is the cap will go up again in 23 when we need to pay Nelson. It would be huge to have Turay Dayo and Paye on third downs.

The fact that Strachan was used with the 1s (with Pittman out) and not Patmon speaks volumes to me.

I am going to assume Patmon  might of already been practicing with the ones. But I could be wrong. Probably just wanted to see what he could do with the ones. Patmon might of got time yesterday because PItt missed yesterday too. BTW his baby girl was born. Mila Joan Pittman. Almost 9 lbs.
