Not really, much, I think the dude swung like a little ____. Willie Mays Hayes has a better swinghaha. But I think people that do that crap are incredibly stupid and have SDE, I over here never been in a fight, but that is because I am bigger than a lot of people, and have enough swing to break a jaw easily if I ever needed to.

I think the dude should be banned from all Major League parks

I agree but I am not sure how that be done.

Big homecoming tonight with Lester on the Mound and Schwarber in LF. Maybe Castro too.

Only Cub in the lineup tonight with at bats vs Lester is Duffy who is 1-2

This is hard to watch, I miss those guys. Baez hitting a home run off of Lester just felt weird man. Schwarber got one too, I bet he misses hitting at Wrigley.

Cubs win, beat the Nationals 7-3. Nice to get a win over the former Cub Jon Lester who takes the loss. Cubs are now 20-20 at .500 so we are maintaining so far through May within close distance of the 1st place Cards who are off tonight. Just 2.5 games back of 1st now.

Here are the NL Central Division standings through May 17th, 2021:

1. Cards 23-18

2. Brewers 21-20 (2 back)

3. Cubs 20-20 (2.5 back)

4. Reds 19-20 (3 back)

5. Pirates 17-23 (5.5 back)

MLB office can do it at least by requiring all teams to not allow him to buy tickets, and to eject if.

Heyward also getting the HR. Lester telling Rizzo "I hate you" after the first ground out, because Rizzo played it slowly and cool just to mess with Lester:lol:

Need the Cardinals to sweep these 2 against the Pirates to put the Pirates back 7.5 games and essentially knock the first team out of the Central divisional race.

I will be at the game tonight, It should be a wet field as it has been raining since last night, but is supposed to be done around 4.

Hope it's a good one.

Do you go to the museum before the game?   I've never been but have heard great things about it.

I have not been, honestly I had no clue there was one there.

I will end up being downtown, today, Saturday (Cubs v Cards) and Sunday (Blues v Avalanche) but I wonder if it is in ballpark village?

I'm hoping you make it there so you can fill me in about it.

The St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame presented by Edward Jones was created to honor the players and personalities who have had the greatest impact on the franchise, and it gives fans a new way to connect and learn about our team's great heritage. Fans will vote on new inductees annually, and interactive kiosks help you learn more about past Cardinals greats with photos, video and statistics. Located just outside the Cardinals Museum, the Cardinals Hall of Fame presented by Edward Jones will always be accessible to fans at no cost when Cardinals Nation is open.

From WIKI:

The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum contains over 15,000 total artifacts and 80,000 photographs, second only to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as the largest collection of baseball antiquities. The sections of the Museum include: the Plaque Gallery, a Sportsman's Park Room, a Busch Stadium II Room, a Busch Stadium III Room, a Championship Gallery, a Uniform Timeline, a Look at the Current Cardinals, a St. Louis Browns Display, a St. Louis Stars Display, and a Temporary Exhibit Room that has included displays on Stan Musial and a history of the Cardinals Farm System.

Championship memorabilia[7]

A baseball autographed by the 1926 World Series-winning team, including an autograph from Babe Ruth, playing for the opponent the New York Yankees.

A 1931 World Series championship ring in its original green case that was awarded to Sparky Adams

A program from the first and only all-St. Louis World Series, played in 1944 against the Browns (now the Baltimore Orioles)

The original Commissioner's Trophy awarded to the 1967 championship team, when the Cardinals defeated the Boston Red Sox

As @Jay Kirk would say, baseball is a marathon, not a sprint. No need to be too upset about a game or two in May. Now in September, you have more reason to be worried.

You are correct after All Star break and trade deadline . Going into last of July and early August is when the chips are down , and we really see whos who.

My thought exactly. I cannot understand why so many of my fellow Vikings fans were defending the Padres fan. The Rockies fan who was punched chose not to press charges. I feel that the Padres fan should have been arrested. That was awful.

He would've been in St Louis it wouldve been do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars go directly to jail :spit: They dont tolerate nonsense in their ballpark .

Lol nothing to hang our head about , long season and they will be coming to our ballpark. Cards are not at 100 percent . Warm weather approaching then look out Goldy will catch fire as will Dejoung . Wont be a lineup most want to face . Molina a bit rusty from time off as well. I would loved to seen Reyes in the rotation though. But with Hicks out they need him where he is.

So, you are a hockey fan too. My cousins are huge hockey fans. They like the Canadiens.

We have had a few injuries. That is the only reason why we would trade for him.

Yep, and the Cubs are the only team that did not ask for significant money or prospects. The cash amount the Cubs are getting is $1 haha, no that is not an exaggeration

I enjoy going to games and find it fun going to a Playoff game. Plus living so close makes it easy to go

Enjoy them while you are still young. One year when I was 23 or 24, I attended twenty games at Shea Stadium.

I attended one hockey game. It was exciting. I went because the Rangers were honoring someone who had done great work in the community in NY -- Adam Graves. He did invaluable work yet he was so humble.

Yep! They didn't want to stand in way of him going to MLB, so they traded him for just that

And this is my age 23 year. And will have at least 5 games by second week of June

I enjoy going to hockey games, last I went to, last month, blues scored 9 times most in ten years

You seem like such a mature 23-year-old. I recall when you told us you were a senior in high school way back when. I remember being surprised. haha

I am not an NHL hockey fan but I had to go to that one game. I like Olympic hockey  better.

Enjoy the games!

Nice win last night.  Edman, Carlson, Molina, Sosa and Arenado had multi-hit games.

I think I give up on Carpenter and hope they cut him and bring up some youth.    He's hitting .108.   Last year he hit .186.  2019 he hit .226.

18-2 Giants over Reds in the 7th. 9 run 3rd inning. Has anyone seen a crazy scoring inning like that before?

A couple years ago the Cards scored 10 runs in the 1st inning of a playoff game.

I also remember when Fernando Tatis had 8 RBI in 1 inning.

ATLANTA -- Looking to secure their first National League Championship Series berth since 2014, the Cardinals wasted no time. They simply put together the biggest first inning in MLB postseason history.

They earned that distinction by scoring 10 first-inning runs against the Braves in Wednesday’s 13-1 win in Game 5 of the NL Division Series at SunTrust Park, the most ever by a team in the first inning of a playoff game. The Cardinals received RBI hits from Marcell Ozuna, Tommy Edman, Dexter Fowler and Kolten Wong as part of their five knocks in the frame, during which they sent 14 men to the plate.

Tatis Sr, big game was wayyy before my time so no recollection of the game except the two GS since they bring it up every couple weeks
