Legwold is one of ESPN's "Senior" writers.    And they don't give that title out to just anyone.    He's a top guy.    And he only jumps in on the draft at the end.

 

He's spent months getting info from sources around the NFL and then verifying what he just gathered.    A good guy.

 

Does a top-100 every year,  and unlike Mel and Todd,  his work is NOT premium.    So, it's open to all eyes!      

 

He's got some very surprising rankings.   Things that will jump out at you.  I won't give them away,  but they will jump out at you.

Interesting he has Slater rated higher than Sewell. He also has Lance rated higher than Fields which is reasonable. I think Lance will be really good.

Zach Wilson at #24 is a hot take. That implies that the NYJ are not only picking the 4th QB at #2, but picking a guy who is more of a late 1st round talent. Have to disagree adamantly with that idea. I think, in a draft without a QB like Lawrence, he is the #1 overall pick.
