Most people are probably gonna hate this pick  but I think JOK would be fantastic in the Colts defense

For me,  he's the only LB that I'd feel comfortable with in the first round.    Maybe even the first 3-4 rounds.

He's just that good.    If you believe in BPA,  JOK fits that description.    Our LB corp would be faaaassst!

I'd prefer we not do this.   I think LB is no higher than our 6th most pressing need.   But I don't think I'd hate this.

If he's there when we pick, I think we'd certainly consider it,  or perhaps trade down depending on who else is available.

I think he would be day 1 starter at LB and in certain spots could play S

I agree....

Except I believe we're looking to play less 4-3 and more 4-2-5 or even 4-1-6 defensively.

That leaves good people standing on the sidelines.     Not sure I want to use pick 21 on a player who might not be playing 95% of our snaps.

Hes a swiss army knife so could be shifted around in many different ways. Could ultimately help this D.

Yeah. I love the idea of having another fassssst playmaker on the D. He's one of a handful of guys, if they slipped, that I'd be happy taking over a Tackle or DE.

Owusu-koroamoa, Micah Parsons, Devonte Smith (if his weight makes him drop) ... those guys seem special. Parsons' off-field stuff would have to be thoroughly looked at, but ...

The 2 other guys you mentioned will most likely go top 15

With how you have this draft laid out. This would be a fantastic pic!!!!   Although Bateman and maybe further back Newsome would also be there.   But!   I would have no issues with this.

Ballard likes the front 7.     This would certainly bolster that group!

FWIW.  I misspelled bolster about 5 times now I'm not even sure its a word

He fills a void left by Walker

Glad people here are open to the idea

I agree.  He is the only 1st round ILB by a far stretch. And maybe when you figure in value and need the only in the 1st 3-4 rounds.

How so?

Ojulari has both 2 point and 3 point stance experience, Teams that play multiple fronts will love him and I see a lot of Robert Mathis in him, he is about the same height and weight like when Mathis was drafted. That is my take at least. :)

I thought he was projected specifically as a 34 but I'm probably wrong

No, he is primarily projected as a pass rush specialist for a team that plays multiple fronts, teams like the Ravens, Dolphins, and to an extent the Bucs and Titans too. However, they said the same about Jerry Hughes too, and same with Robert Mathis, because of lack of bulk that they would end up playing as a 3-4 OLB but we all know what happened.

For what it’s worth.   I don’t think he’d be an inside LB for the Colts.  I think he’d be an OLB,  with Okereke in the middle.

I am gonna disagree only to an extent.   You could be right. but he may be the best cover LB in the draft and that bodes well at MLB for this D

In the passing game, his football instincts help put him in a position to make plays. His experience of playing the safety position is demonstrated by multiple pass breakups. It isn’t a stretch to say that he has the best coverage skills of any linebacker in this class.

Yes he would.    I can also see the argument that the "value" would be better in this scenario to take Newsome.  Like NCF said Oke would play Mike so it could add another playmaker at another position.

I may be over thinking but!!!!   I think Horn is the next Revis.    Which I think maybe the best CB of our generation.    Rod Woodson (my boy).  Is right there.  # Dione
