I'm hoping banogu makes a jump and dresses on game day.  maybe in on passing downs.

@danlhart87 If you have Houston returning, is he playing on the strong side or weak side?

I think he has the ability to play both. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't he play Weak usually?

That would be nice, but I'm not counting on it.

Hopefully the FO put him on a very specific off season regiment with some good technique and S&C coaches.

I think Ballard is going CB, no later than RD #2.

Yes, that is why I asked, as you have Turay playing strong.

This is just my opinion, but wouldn't a rotation of Houston and Turay on the weak side and a rotation of Lewis and Rochell/Banogu(sp?)  with Muhammad floating make more sense?  If possible of course?

I like Horn Melifonwu and Joseph there

Also consider Trill Williams on Day 3

Horn isn’t a first round corner?    The kid from South Carolina?

J. Horn is definitely a 1st CB and most likely goes before 21. The others listed, are CB’s I like outside of 1st Rd, consideration. I think there a lot of good 2CB’s in this draft.

I think he lands in Arizona

Why?

He fits Colts system perfectly

He's incredibly raw, he's one of the DEs in the class that has no clue what he's doing on the field and he's got extremely average traits

Can’t see it in round 2. Remember that Tell is lurking there as a potential starter and they like him. The greater needs are the obvious ones: Edge, LT, TE. I see a CB in Day 3, along with S, WR, and DT.

That’s accurate and scary, but not in a good way.  Definitely worse than last season. Even the depth is worse.

I don’t expect it to be resolved in the draft, but there better be some upgrades from there and more FA’s.

Our best defense (at least as it stands right now) is going to be a clock controlling offense that wears their defense out.

I'm afraid our D breaks a lot this year like the did second half last year. If that's the case, our O will have to take a major step forward, or at least be more dynamic.

I think that Tell and Rodgers add considerable depth already. Rodgers performed extremely well when given the chance to play and the hope is that Tell can make a major leap.

Lurking. Not sure I want to put my hopes on someone who is lurking. Lol. Not trying o offend just had a visual. I think they have to invest a high pic in a corner. Roades has a year left and Yin is not the answer. Tell is a 5th rounder I believe. Time for a man corner

    • Enjoy. He talked to Keefer and Holder for 40 minutes.
    • IMO, they kept Patmon on the 53 because he had the size and speed that would intrigue some teams that might be shopping, but also because we needed to keep another X since Pittman was a rook, and Pascal (who isn't really a true X) was going to play a decent amount from slot. This year it's probably the same situation, but now we have 2 choices for that second X.   I love Dulin, and have been a fan since signed. And I love the gunner aspects. Still just not sure that will be enough unless he can find a niche in the WR area. He's been bounced all around, but mostly he's running clear outs for other guys from the film I've watched. I hated when they had him running X routes at times. Given his size profile, I wish they'd just keep him at slot or Z and let him settle in a bit. IMO, he'd be best at slot. Just really depends on what their plans are for PC though I guess. Overall, I have not been a big fan of Reich and Groh's WR development. They try to put some round objects in square holes. I do like Harris as well, but his size profile limits him a bit. If he can hold up, would love to see him get a chance at slot if they move PC outside.   I think moving PC outside might ease the chance of injury. That's on top of the obvious need to find a replacement for TY.
    • He wasn’t that good the last two years, so it does seem like a bit of a stretch.  But desperate times and all.
    • I don't foresee him keeping the #99 jersey.  Because, reasons.
