Bobby Wagner, Kendricks, maybe Roquan

I’ll give you the first two. Wagner is in a class of his own. Great at everything really. In another year or two Leonard will be in that same class though. Wagner has been around longer than Darius.

Chiefs interested in TY.

Sportrac has him valued at $10 million per.......that's probably too much for a cash strapped Irsay, but they did delay paying  $5 million bonus to Wentz.

Oh good grief. Someone, anyone provide concrete proof that Irsay is cash strapped.

Irsay is cash strapped so that means he can’t afford TY?   But people are expecting extensions for Leonard and Smith with a lot of cash and guaranteed money at signing.  I don’t think there is a cash problem signing TY.  It’s about agreeing to the value of the contract.   I don’t see TY breaking the bank.  Unfortunately I think there is a very good chance he signs with the Chiefs though.

Yes, yes it would. It would be something awful...

Eh honestly I see it being a wash. With TY’s only real advantage being he’s a bit more durable than Watkins. Both have hit their peaks and are in decline. Both aren’t gonna light the world on fire any longer

In a vacuum, I completely understand where you're coming from. However, TY's familiarity with the offense, as well as his leadership in the receiver room, are both intangibles that bring far greater value to the Colts and a new quarterback in my opinion.

Also, I remain optimistic that with a QB who can throw the long ball, TY will reemerge as a solid deep threat if healthy. I can absolutely see him bouncing back to a certain extent.

I’ll give you that as well. But on the flip side, sometimes new ideas and new personalities in a locker room can be a benefit as well. We could do a lot worse than Sammy Watkins, granted I have no desire to sign him.  Or really TY at this point. But sadly, options are limited with the holes at LT and DE

To answer your question, Dan, I would take Paye and not think twice about it. I think he'll be special and the Colts badly need a talented young pass rusher. The other three would be solid consolation prizes, but Paye would be a major coup for the Colts if he fell to them.

NFLPA site is finally updated. Has all teams under the cap now with a league low cap space of $450k by the Bears.

Shows Colts with $44m

https://nflpa.com/reports/public-salary-cap-report

This is prior to Rhodes signing and Tevi signing.

All sites show Wentz restructured deal now as well. From what I am seeing his restructure of roster bonus didn't guarantee the $5m moved to 2022. So showing $27m cap hit, $15m dead cap. So could get out of contract and save $12m if he didn't play well. Lets hope that's not the case, but interesting observation.

Wow the falcons have 7 million In room but only have 46 players on their roster

question, are the capspace numbers including the rookie reserve for the draftees? Or it that not counting that

This is an excellent question. I didn't think those figures were factored in yet, due to trades etc, which would necessitate more cuts from a reasonable amount of teams...

I don’t think they become official until the draftee signs but teams generally keep that space available prior.
