He was the most double teamed edge rusher in the league this year

Had 14 TFL which is more than Buckner

He's still a fantastic run defender

He has a lot left in the tank..

I am not sure he is a scheme fit.

With Big Ben likely returning, Pittsburgh would have to be in the conversation to chase another ring and JJ would probably take less money to go there and play with his bros, especially in a reduced or situational role.

If Pittsburgh does that they are dumber than I thought. They need a new QB and better play-makers, not more defensive firepower. Defense can only get you so far, as the Steelers’ late-season collapse proved

I agree on the injury front but the scheme for I don’t see being an issue. He actually would be a huge benefit because he can play DE and kick inside on plays like Autry did. I see him having a huge impact for us for maybe 2 or 3 years if we were to sign him.

I will say I highly doubt we sign him and Ballard probably won’t even really consider it much IMO. He might make a call but the money won’t make sense and Watt coming here really doesn’t make sense.

Is it the injury history,  the age or the scheme?  You're kind of all over the place .

For the record,  I don't think the Colts will be interested
