Cousins on the move?

In just about every statical category Cousins was better than Stafford. So if so many wanted Stafford they should be jumping at the chance to get Cousins.

If you were happy about possibility ot Stafford you should be on board with Cousins if it was to come about.

Id be ok with it.  I think there isnt much noise about it because hes under contract and they dont really need to trade him.  Not sure the Colts would be a big upgrade to him either.

From what i have read the Vikings dont need or want to trade him that badly, they might if someone wants to blow them away with an offer

I would rather start Eason over Cousins.  Cousins hasn't proved he's a winner....One option, he can be Eason's back up..

This is how I look at it. If the FA QB you bring in gives you a chance at winning your division at least, bring him in.

 

However, if you feel that it is not going to be a huge improvement ala Rivers or something better, just get a bridge QB to hold the fort for the future franchise QB you draft.

I guess Viking Fans rather use their money on food, housing, cars etc.. than chip in every month on Cousins salary.

From what I hear they're cap situation is one of the worst in football. He is 25% of they're cap this year.

Neither is even close to being accurate.

 

The Vikings are projected to be 12 million in the red in cap space, but 10 teams are further in the red than them.  The Saints are over 100 Million in the red.

 

Furthermore Cousin's cap hit for next year is 31 million.  Their total cap liabilities are 196.6 Million.  which means he's about 16% of the cap.  

 

It should be noted that his cap hit of 31 million is not really all that unusual either.

It’s easy to say who we don’t want.  The trick is to find someone we do want.    But that’s getting harder by the day.
