I think this feels like a Chicago win for Wentz. But if it turns out the Colts get him I think Wentz needs to demonstrate real leadership.

Most players are either not getting the raise in pay they hoped for,  or they may get a pay cut.

Show some leadership on your new team.  Take a cut and take incentives to earn the rest back.  Do it this year when teams will suffer some real salary cap pain due to Covid.   That’s what real leaders do.

Now we wait to find out who gets CW, and who is still looking for their next quarterback.

Wentz better hope he comes here cause Chicago line is crap

If Ballard is considering Wentz for sure, I really hope they’ve done their research. I really hope the reports of Wentz being somewhat uncoachable and doesn’t man up to his mistakes to be true. Those are just really bad traits to have as your franchise QB. But I think he would thrive better in Indy than Chicago. Can we kick the tires on Carr? (Haha). I feel like Gruden doesn’t like him. Offer up our 1st rounder and Okereke?

I’m not worried about him being coachable.  His former OC is our head coach.  Clearly, they get along just fine or this wouldn’t be happening.

My problem is that, coachable or not, he has clearly taken several steps back after his knee injury.  We have to hope those steps back are temporary - and it can only be a hope.

But...is “this” really happening - or is it all fan and “expert” - driven conjecture?  Guess we’ll know soon enough.

I mean that the Colts have at least expressed interest, if not a formal offer.  That doesn’t seem like idle speculation.

That wouldn’t be happening without Reich’s buy-in.  And Reich has actually coached him, up close and personal.

Point is:  all this talk about his relationships with coaches doesn’t concern me.  His very poor play this past season concerns me.

Would you do the trade above

Im not trading up for anybody from #21. If Jones falls to #21 sure. Value is good, but like PT said it would take more than that.

#14 - 1100pts

#21 - 800pts

#84 -170pts

2022 4th - 30-40pts(devalued to 5th round)

Full 100pts short on value chart

Probably would take our 1st and 2nd with

maybe getting 4th/ or 5th round pick back.

More likely we trade back, tbh.

That's the problem. Who is the right QB?

Its a gamble. The top 4-5 in draft will already most likely be gone in top 10. Craps shoot from there. No need to force it.(Ballards words)

I like Mac Jones just as much as you do, too.

Like I said it's worth the risk if they don't have anybody come draft time

If we give up what’s rumored I will be shocked. That’s the anti Chris Ballard

If they get that 37th pick back it helps a lot

We are not going into the draft with only Eason. I guarantee that.
