It's officially "nervous time" in Kansas City but I  disagree - if the Chiefs hold on to win but Mahomes is out next weekend, I don't think there's any way they beat Buffalo with Chad Henne under center - he's a backup for a reason and Mahomes is one of KC's true difference makers.

He was Curtis Painter in the regular season but Tom Brady in the playoffs

Not gonna lie, Chiefs didn’t seem to miss much of a beat with Henne in.

 

Edit* To clarify there was a drop off to be sure in production but nowhere near what other teams would experience.

The call was a little delayed, but it appeared to me that what is described as a crackback did occur, especially hitting the lineman low.
