Let’s hope. He’s irritated me for a long time !

Watching this game makes you realize how close the colts are to getting to the big dance.

Both these old QB look old lol.

Lol loved it specially PITTS resting their players, can enjoy more rest

Said it before and will again resting isn't smart. I expect Chiefs to win next week but will start very rusty.

Buccaneers 24 Saints 22

Thoughts

I'll participate officially since i went 6-0 in wildcard. I can pick games, but I'm absolutely HORRIBLE at guessing the scores.

Rams 21 Packers 27: I just can't see an LA team going into the frozen tundra and winning. Bodes well for the Pack since Tampa and NO are both warm weather teams.

Ravens 27 Bills 24: If we limited the Bills possessions what do you Balt will do? No way to contain Jackson and secondary is a bit better than ours.

Browns 20 Chiefs 31: Unless the first snap for KC goes over the head of Mahomes and into the endzone, Browns will NOT repeat what happened last night. And that Steelers almost comeback didn't look good for them.

Buccaneers 24 Saints 30: Our lord and savior Tom Brady has been greater as of recent. But the Saints just have a much better defense Latimore and Jenkins are two absolute beasts to matchup here. And the bucs defense isn't stopping Brees

I really like the Rams D vs the Packers. Not sure what they will get out of Goff though. Maybe they start Wolvrood again if his neck is healed.

I think Bills win vs Ravens but I hesitate because the Ravens D looked so good vs Titans. I think Allen proves too much but I also think Lamar could torch that soft Bills D.

I really like Browns chances of upsetting the Chiefs. With 3 weeks off, the Chiefs could be rusty and the Browns are a fast starting team. Not sure if they can hold Mahomes off but that could be the upset of the weekend.

I like Tampa a lot vs Saints because the Saints are not playing as well as they were mid-season and Tampa is on fire offensively. I see a shoot out with Brady and his cast being too much to overcome in the end for Brees and the Saints.

IMO, this is the best weekend of football. Any team can win.  The best 8 teams are left. I love it.

I agree. I love division round, although superwild card week has stolen a bit of thunder from it

One more thing.

I am thinking this is the year of No. 2 seeds. Every fantasy league but one that I was involved in, we had a No.2 seed win it all.

Bills or Saints - one of them could end up winning the SB, only time will tell if my FF based out of left field prediction becomes right. :)

Browns were so beat up by end of Pitt game they were playing walk ons...it could get ugly and fast.

Wolford ruled out for Rams so Goff starts and Blake Bortles comes in likely by 2nd quarter, their D can keep it close only so long,

They say its hard to beat a team 3 times in a season BUT Saints 38-3 November 8th showed difference between 2 squads, terrible matchup for Shaky Bucs D...if you make XFL backup Taylor henicke look like an all pro how in the world do you contain Brees ? You dont and wont, N.O. by double digets once again.

Buff vs Balt game of the weekend. Many down on Bills because Colts outplayed them by so much but Colts outplayed Green Bay and Pack are going to the Superbowl so take that with a grain of salt. Diggs best WR in the playoffs and I expect him to make enough big plays to ekk out a close close win.

We only disagree on 1 game, I have the Ravens. Good picks by you overall because the Ravens/Bills game is 50/50.

Speaking of favorite weekends, mine is actually AFC/NFC Title Game Sunday because there are 2 games. The SB is great too but a lot of times the 2 best teams play in the same conference and you have football all day on that weekend. When the Colts played the Patriots in 2003 and 2006, everyone knew the winner of that would win the SB.

Only 12 QB's have won 2 SB's or more as a starter: (1966-2020)

1. Tommy Brady 6

2. Terry Bradshaw 4, Joe Montana 4 - tied

3. Troy Aikman 3

4. There are 8 that have won 2 and they are by era - Bart Starr, Bob Greise, Roger Staubach, Jim Plunkett, John Elway, of course Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, and Big Ben.

Question is, will Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers enter this elite winning group? or will Pat Mahomes say hold my beer and get 2 already?

    • I like the breakdown and agree although i caveat with this:   I don't think Leno or Fisher was 2-3 year deals unless they get what their market is before being cut.   And I do not think CB is going to big against himself to do that.   Leno basically made $8M-$9M each year ($8.8, $5.0, $8.1, $8.1) and was slated to make $9.0M this year before cut.   If the Colts are going to offer him $8-$9M a year I think he would gladly take a 2-3 year deal. But if the Colts are bargain shopping then I think he and Fisher will both be happy to take 1 year deals and prove their worth and re-enter the market next year when there is a lot more money to go around.   Fisher probably won't go for a 2-3 year deal unless he is making $10M+    I would actually ideally like to see us give one of them a 2-3 year deal where we have cost control on a decent contract for a year or two beyond this one.   I think that is a big win if so. More likely scenario has us giving one of them a $6M-$8M deal for a year and then having to either try to extend them if it works out or let them walk if it doesn't.
    • Best option if healthy - Fisher (will still likely want 2-3 years)   Safest option - Leno (likely wants 3 years min)   Most expensive option - Leno   Cheapest short term option with a level of safety - Okung (PFF predicts a 3 year deal, which I don't see).   IMO, if you don't grab one of those guys, or other quality FA, you'll end up starting Tevi. If you start Tevi, before long you're moving Nelson to LT.... Ballard likely doesn't want to give Leno 3-4 years and high dollars. FIsher comes with risk. IDK...
    • Here's what PFF says, and how they rank them in terms of FAs available.   In short, Houston had the worst pass rush graded year of his career, but still was top 10 in pass rush win rate. Kerrigan on the other had a career worst year all around, was really lousy vs the run, while many expected a bump up in production per snap due to the reduced role.   If Houston would take a one year deal, I'd rather give him 10M than give Kerrigan 5M.     Don't forget we lost 2 (Autry and Houston) and added 3 (Paye, Dayo, Rochell). So even if Dayo takes longer, we're still even net/net with the addition of Rochell.    I agree he could start over Banogu. As long as Turay is deemed healthy enough to play, he'd be a better passing downs rusher than Kerrigan. Kerrigan wouldn't play on running downs at all for us. He'd be a rotational or depth pass rush specialist at best.
    • Man i respect you. But I just have to say the talent gradient in college is so vast compared to the NFL. I Trust Ballard. It makes sense and no way in hell am i making that trade. Whatever happened to sitting a kid for a year? I mean you got a bag, buy in or gtho.
    • Granson is a Burton type small hybrid, that probably doesn't block as well as Burton. Wasn't a huge fan of Burton, or really the level of usage from the slot. We'll see, but he just doesn't wow me, and will need to be used correctly to get the most out of him. He's definitely not a typical TE type.    Strachan is a raw small school project. Surprised we took another X type WR. Guessing Patmon isn't progressing as well as they hoped. Either that or think Patmon can play somewhere else (slot or Z) and I just have a hard time seeing that. Or maybe they think he can pack on pounds and become a TE or jumbo WR hybrid. I like his as a project though with low expectation.   IMO, the best pick of Day 3, or I should say the pick most likely to compete for starter snaps is Davis. SAF was a secondary need for me. I could see him pushing Willis by mid season if not earlier. He is physically more gifted, but probably less of a nose for the ball than Willis. There were other Ss I would have preferred, but he's decent. I'm just glad we grabbed one after losing a very solid Wilson.
