No expectations! Playing with house money, hoping to stay competitive! This could be our last gameday together fam, let's enjoy this!    Let's Go Indy!!

Feed the Beast   And let this beast eat   Let the Maniac roam wild   Let the Rivers flow   Q serving up pancakes for lun

Momentum has completely gone to the Bills. I’d have sent Hot Rod out for the FG, Turay has got to stay on sides there.

Only down 4, shut them down and get it back to start the 3rd

Pittman dropped, fact.

BZZZZZ!!!  Wrong, but thank you for playing the game.

Pitt fully laid out for that pass.  It was clearly overthrown.

when you only do QB sneaks with jacoby teams catch on . Once and a while throw it or dont play jacoby .

That's my point. Call something other than a sneak. It is a wasted down.

We just need to complete plays. If Pittman makes that catch or Rodgers gets that INT or Turan doesn't go offsides then this a different game. Let's get a better second half. Let's  go!

That's why I'm not down on passing on the FG.

We're gonna have to get a lead and hold on. We aren't going to win going toe to toe with them.

Also, it is just me or does it seem like the Colts have an especially difficult time punching it in especially inside the 5?

I feel like this has been an ongoing issue throughout the season.

Rivers lack of mobility does affect things because the D knows he is not a threat to run it in an does not have to account for him and it takes away rollout type plays, etc.  Thats the only thing I can come up with as to why.

Reich IS A TERRIBLE PLAY CALLER. Period. Especially in the red zone.  How many times does he screw things up with his mindless sequence of calls? He is a serious problem for this team going forward. He does not have the ability to call a good consistent game. He’s a darn good head coach. And needs to give up play calling after this season. Just so painful to watch.

We are the better team today. Theyve gotten us on a play here and a play there.

That's what's sad.  We're the better team, yet they are up by 4 and have the ball

Bright side.... I’m not mad at Isaiah Rogers getting more reps on the perimeter at corner

Yes, I believe his issue is he gets beat deep. Playing the over the top zone. If he stays underneath, he should be fine. He has the closing speed to make a difference.

The 3 BIG, unfortunate plays of the 1st half, all of which went against the Colts

1. JT drop in open space

2. Frank yet again being a sucker for failed analytics in not taking the give me 3pts

3. Turay for being an undisciplined dink in jumping offside.

Jesus.... I thought they were all under 100 posts.... Calm down friend....1300 of the above posts is way too stressful.

So what you are saying, is striving to make a game changing play is punishable by banishment? I'm sure turAy is being hard enough on himself, you. Would have never jumped there, we all know that, but the colts for whatever reason we're unable to secure a contract for you.....

Honestly I don’t understand where you’re getting at with this one.  Before the snap, I’m more than sure all of the veterans and players communicated to one another to stay disciplined.  Turay clearly ignored that.  I just don’t think it was a team ball play by him, who JUST came back late into the season

We still in this despite the gut punch at the end of the first half.  Imo, we can't let Buffalo score a TD on their opening drive to start the second half.  We need our defense to force some turnovers in second half.

Every single close play in the first half from Bills catches on the sideline to the interception that wasn't went against us and we are still in it. The only exception was the face mask non call. Not saying the calls were wrong, I'm saying in spite of every close play going against them, the boys are still right in the game. Just need to make some plays in 2H

I just doubt he ignored that.  Failed at executing that advice? Absolutely..... Doubt he just went rogue there.....

#3 for sure

I also thought Hilton should have caught that ball that Rivers threw in between two Bills defenders.

I honestly don’t think we have the personnel to stop Allen when he runs and throws off the run. There’s just no defensive solution to that equation.

I don’t think to many teams do.

Thanks for your amazing analysis

Last I checked, you dont need an advanced degree to understand football, so why dont you keep the smart alec comments to yourself?

Jacoby quarterback sneak is a wasted play moving forward. Does Frank seriously think that anyone is not going to see it from a mile?

I was told that Reich was just setting up a surprise Jacoby pass play for the playoffs.

Oops

That wasn't on Pittman even Boomer said it was on Phil and needed to throw it better, but yes I agree we need to make plays

    • Perfect example was last year.  Brady gets all the credit for leading the Bucs to the SB win.  Which he did in changing the culture and playing controlled FB.  But everyone knows their D won that game.   You're right, we're a long way from having a dominating defense.  And as of right now, we're not even as good as we were last season, with the loss of Autrey, probably Houston, and a few other role players.
    • You take BPA even if that position is filled.  The only exception at QB is if you have a Pro Bowl QB less than a decade into his career. Teams like the Chargers, Cardinals, Cowboys and Chiefs will not draft a QB even if Wilson falls to them. If a player is clearly graded highest at 3T, OG or WLB....you take him if no trade is offered worth considering. A team can’t have too many good players. It works itself out long term.
    • CW announces he's retiring at home pre season game 2 weeks before season opener.
    • He isnt a bad player, just not enough big plays   As Buckeye fan we have had some dominant LBs over the past    He isnt one of them
    • Good post! People who complain about Ballard should be glad they aren’t Eagles or Texan fans. Sure, you can “buy” a championship team, via FA but I like what Ballard is doing.      There’s question marks on our receivers, CBs and DEs but some of that is health, some experience and just getting better. All three areas could be solid and even a little underrated at times.
