Probably wouldn't last until the 2nd round but this looks like a good CB prospect.  Fits the measurables @ 6' 1", 205 lbs and plays well.

Would much rather trade up a bit to get Patrick Surtain Jr., who I think would be a stud in this defense at CB. Could be available in the mid 1st round area.

Horn is a late first to mid second round prospect. Surtain is top 10 and Farley is going to be mid to late first. We could grab him if Ballard rates him high.

I want Horn as well, we could possibly move back a bit in first round and pick up an additional pick in the swap. he wont last to round 2 unless he starts falling.

it sounds like both Surtain II and Farley will be gone before #21, so I wonder if Ballard might be more inclined to take one of the OTs who could still be there (Cosmi? Darrisaw? etc) and maybe roll the dice on a developmental CB (or WR) in Round 2 or 3?

 

also, do you guys see Ballard possibly signing a safety from what appears to be a pretty good group of free agent safeties?

I have only watched a bit of Trask, but the guy seems to have a pro career ahead of him.

 

His stats are fantastic

4283 Yards 43 Tds just 8 ints

 

He also has the pro size

6-5 240 lbs

 

He has decent deep ball , great touch and  accuracy 

 

He is someone that MIGHT be able to step in and play

 

I like some of the QBs in this draft, and think Trask is a very viable option

 

It seems that there are 4-5 QBs that are in front of him, He may also be available in the early second, if we were able to trade into the spot
