Lucky for you next game is in 2021,,,,,,playoffs here we come.

Im done with 2020

I stand corrected.  He did get signed out of retirement to start at LT for us.   And did decent.  Credit to Ballard.  Savvy move.   As long as we can run the ball, we have a chance

lol welll if he can run block better than constanzo with a slight drop off in pass protection I’ll take it we need to run it nonstop to keep rivers from throwing those crucial untimely picks

Well, I wonder if he just wanted to play a short season and get a shot....or the time off has him itching for another season or two. Either way, another Ballard solid.....especially on the cusp of the playoffs.

I wasnt discrediting AC but those kinds of blocks he was making in the run game was excellent ofc if we were grading them by how consistently they do it I’d have to go with AC bc idk much about JV

He did grab a shirt in the 3rd quarter, and the JAX defender raised his arm to alert officials. That certainly looked more offensive than Glowinski's imaginary 'block in the back' vs Tuitt. JV released the shirt, maybe just in time, or maybe JV knows how to release his grip in time.

He does not look fat.

Let him concentrate on this week, not next year.

He learned the playbook in 2 days, and said he is practicing 'learning how to learn'.

And he seemed happy that he's still able to play.

His video conference today was awesome. Colts are very fortunate to get him this late in the season!

He’s a sharp kid....we could be a lot worse off.

Jared may be a blessing in disguise. He played for the Packers in the frozen tundra and knows what it takes to play in the cold/ bad weather. He is a great source for telling players how to deal with the weather conditions that are thrown at them. Go Colts!!!

I have no clue who is written in Ballard's little black book but I am sure glad he has one.

2 points on him:

1.   Green Bay’s LT (Bitoni?) went down for season right after we picked him up. Not a stretch to believe he’d be on GB’s roster now had we not called him.   VERY fortunate for us.

2.  Was just reading a Colt/Bill matchup  on CBSSports.com and they mentioned AC and Clark being out as well as Holden.   Said Smith would be at RT but that CHAZ GREEN would start at LT.   No mention of Veldeer even being on roster.  As i see nothing on this forum, i’ll assume CBS missed him.

I’ll add a 3:  He looked agressive , smart, and strong last game., especially run blocking.   Heres hoping it wasnt because it was the jags.

I’d feel alot better if Holden was healthy.  For depth at the very least.

    • I mean I wish they trade us for Wentz if they want a Lance type of QB.  And give us the #3 so we can get Fields
    • But I don’t think they’ll take Lance either at #3.  I know Niners love to scheme on offense.  They move players all over the field to get the mismatch and like the OP said get a QB that can run and throw and ran this type of offense in college then it’s like pasta and spaghetti sauce right?  Then why didn’t they take the sure fire QB if that’s the case instead of a rookie?  They could’ve went hard at Wentz.  He is Lance except with a ton of experience and was an MVP QB.  Damn I wish they would get Lance and somehow we trade Wentz and we get Justin Fields that would make my day
    • If the Niners take Mac Donald Jones then I guess John Lynch I believe is there GM?  Well he is getting fired instantly I mean like on the spot.  I think the Niners owners will like call into the Draft stop the live broadcast just to get into the show and say John Lynch gtho Dodge bro.
    • I watched both episodes so far. The first one was more in line with the normalcies on "with the next pick". The scouts showing their experiences of traveling in the covid conditions and how it affects them this year. Really had no issue with it. A bit boring and corny, but informative.   The 2nd episode grinds my gears a bit. It makes me warm up to Wentz and the type of person he is, but it makes me very nervous that most of the episode was about Reich and Wentz bonding over their faith. Obviously we can point to 2016 and 2017 and say they work well together, but I would of liked to see more about why Ballard and Reich thought Wentz was a great football player. He was the best option available no doubt, but I think this episode did a poor job of showcasing why he could be our franchise QB. He could be the nicest and most religious guy in the world, but that doesn't win football games. Show me something more on a show like this.
    • Leo Nard I know he is a all pro LB and he can and will set a record for highest paid LB on any team in the NFL.  I just don’t see it with Leo Nard though.  I don’t know maybe he doesn’t get the hype like LBers in the past has example Ray Lewis, T Suggs etc..  I don’t know I think we maybe be better off trading him for like 3 First Rounders and 1 third round draft pick.  Q omg we have to resign him I guess My priorities is OLINE first and Defense second?
