Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. There are only two more games left in your Indianapolis Colts' 2020 regular season. This game on Sunday is a big one against the hated Steelers (11-3) who are on a 3-game losing streak after starting 11-0.  The Colts (10-4) will try to keep that Steelers' streak going. The Colts offense has been playing very well lately but they will play on Sunday without their two starting offensive tackles. That comes at the worst time, as the Steelers defense is #1 in sacks. But the Steelers have not played well on offense lately, with QB Ben Roethlisberger playing poorly. Conversely, Philip Rivers has played very well the last few games. He will need another great effort in this one, but the Colts may depend on their defense and running game to win.

This may be the last meeting between these two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks who were members of the same draft class. It should be a fun game to watch. Good luck. Enjoy the game. :colts:

What are your thoughts on this game?

If somehow we do lose it would funny if the Giants beat the Ravens. The Ravens will be a real tough out if they get in.

Find the pattern.. and def watch out for the Ravens.

It will be ok, just have a shot of whisky and kick back and enjoy the ride.

Football is such a fun game to watch, to discuss strategy, scheme, plays, etc, and just to enjoy the overall entertainment. As you say, just enjoy it. The sad part is that if there is a loss, people won't appreciate the fun they enjoyed watching the game.

I wish this game was showing where I am. If both teams play at the top of their game, it will be a great game to watch.

I love watching football. :)

Not feeling good about today. Here is why..

Colts playing in Pitt

Playing outdoors in cold

Steelers will be mad. Want to stop losing streak.

Ebron's big day. Ex Colts always came back and kill the Colts.

Steelers getting players back.

With Colts tackles gone, Watt will be on Rivers all day. Haden and Fitzpatrick will blanket colts Wr.'s

Colts won't be able to open holes for run game.

Hope i'm wrong, But just my 2 cents

This really has been a fun season. The colts made so many improvements over last year. There really should be no shame in missing the playoffs at 11-5. Just a strange year and that is very rare. The team has been fun to watch and we actually got the entire nfl season in with very few game interruptions. It could of been a mess.  Nobody thought that would happen.  If we do miss we will draft at around 18 I believe and that is actually a pretty good spot to get a QB or be able to move up if there is one there they fall in love with.

Tge game is live on Sky spirts in the uk, so that shows they think it is the most important match up of the night.

I am more confident of beating them tonight, rather than a few weeks ago, but will still be difficult.

Lets hope we can get the win and move closer to the playoffs without worrying what other teams are doing.

I think what the Steelers do best on offense, actually plays right into the hands of what the Colts do best defensively.

1. Steelers like to run the ball, Colts are pretty good vs the run.

2. Steelers like to use a lot of short drag routes, which should allow our LBs to lay lumber over the middle.

3. Steelers seem to turn the ball over quite a bit, our defense gets the ball back often as well.

Side note, ESPN countdown just keeps talking and talking about Steelers. Smh.

We know we can't really count on getting the help we need, and if we lose we have a very real possibility of missing the postseason, even with a win next week. I think we take it to them, and hope Tennessee loses 1 of their final 2 so we can secure the Division & not only a guaranteed playoff berth, but the 1st postseason game being at home.

According to the US Surgeon General warning, watching ESPN is hazardous to your health

Yeah, I don't really pay to much attention to them, it is just background noise really.

I can't stand BSPN tbh.

    • Well….  If you see Murphy as a 3T and are not concerned about all the other players who can play there, you’re fine then with Murphy only playing roughly 25 percent of the snaps for perhaps 2-3 years?   You’re ok with that for a first round pick?   Because I thought Ballard went out of his way to say Buckner was a physical freak of nature who might be able to play much longer than one might normally expect.    Curious to your thoughts here.
    • Any worries about rumored shoulder issue?
    • I knew I had a favorite last year, but I thought I would be good with whoever the Colts picked... and this was until the odds for the Colts picking Levis hit -4000 or something of the sort about half an hour before the draft and my heart completely dropped. In a way I'm happy the odds-makers completely missed on this one... it showed me how I really felt about those players and made me even more appreciative for us drafting Richardson an hour later.    So... you would be good with any of them... but who do you REALLY want?    On your question... if I had to guess, most Colts fans haven't watched this QB draft extensively. I know I haven't. So his statistical profile doesn't scream 1st rounder so... possibly why not many people really like him. Also keep in mind that this is compared to the other 3. 2 of them have been crowned as the next big thing for a while now and the third one won the Heismann with some exceptional performaces throughout the year.
    • My sleepers: (meaning, the kind of players coaches would like to have, more than what consensus big board gives credit to them. Some of them might need couple of years to attain their high potential, if drafted into suitable coaching environment, so a lot depends on that. Some of them have injury concerns too).   Most of them are high IQ players or high-effort, high-motor players - two traits I look for from the Drafted players, list is long but I like these guys.. gonna be interesting to see where they land and how it works out for them in long run.    Payton Wilson, LB, NC State Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale Maason Smith, IDL, LSU Christian Mahogany, OG, Boston College Max Melton, CB, Rutgers Zak Zinter, OG, Michigan Bucky Irving, RB, Oregon Khyree Jackson, CB Oregon Dylan McMahon, C, NC State (good fit for Browns)  Tykee Smith, SAF, Georgia Ainias Smith, WR, Texas A&M Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame Michael Barrett, LB Michigan Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky Beaux Limmer, IOL, Arkansas   Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami McKinnley Jackson, IDL, Texas A&M Kalen King, CB, Penn State Justin Eboigbe, IDL, Alabama    Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona Beau Brade, SAF, Maryland Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville Jalyx Hunt, EDGE, Houston Christian (I'm hoping for day 3 Vikings pickup, as Flores could work wonders with him)  Jaheim Bell, TE, Florida State Brennan Jackson, EDGE, Washington State  Delmar Glaze, OT, Maryland Myles Cole, EDGE, Texas Tech Kristian Boyd, DT, Northern Iowa Javontae Jean-Baptiste, DL, Notre Dame Jordan Magee, LB, Temple Myles Harden, CB, South Dakota Jalen Green, EDGE, James Madison (UDFA Target prospect)  Trey Taylor, S, Air Force (UDFA prospect) Eyabi Okie-Anoma, EDGE, Charlotte Qwan'tez Stiggers, CB, Toronto  Sundiata Anderson, EDGE, Grambling State  Daequan Hardy, CB, Penn State (Special Teams, Returner)  Emani Bailey, RB, TCU   As for Vikings, I don't wanna rush to draft QB if the team isn't confident in the guys they could move up in draft range, and I'd like to just draft impact players that build the roster at this point.   Build the team, draft a franchise QB at right time, don't rush and ruin years trying to make someone work out in the NFL.
