^^ You in your Colts blue & white, taking a break from the game.   Good luck in the game!

Your Indianapolis Colts play the Tennessee Titans in an intra-division game that both teams want to win to remain atop the division. Although both teams have a 7-3 record, the Colts beat the Titans 34

^Closest thing to a ring ceremony the Titans are ever going to attend.

Here’s the thing the Titans were highly motived for this game and it shows.  That happens in the NFL.  You can’t be highly motived for every game.  So I am not mad at the Colts for that.  I am mad with the fact the defense has shown no effort or response.

if the colts cant be motivated for a game that likely will decide the division .,something is wrong

The Colts should’ve known that the Titans would come in mad. This is on the Colts for not meeting that intensity

his run coverage has been bad this year , he went down hill this year and no one is noticing it .

He's been very good this year. Teams are accounting for him and blocking on the 2nd level. Which causes him to have to get off the blocks more often.

Not going to brag that I was right. This wasn’t hard to see coming. Injuries and covid on a short week was easy to predict. Defensive line players were the one position that we couldn’t afford to miss. Once AC went out and bad Clark came in it was over because we can’t sxore. We better pray that AC can play next week. But since he is ruled out I doubt he does. This all happened at a very bad time and the wrong game.

If you count getting beat by Brown on the TD, the DPI, and the hands to the face (on a play where we sacked Tannehill), Ya-Sin is indirectly responsible for 3 Tennessee TDs.

Weren't the PI and hands to the face on the same drive ? I think so but I'm not going to check it out.

Q eye roll.

Our DBs are not impacted and look horrible. Our run D shouldn't be near as impacted by injuries, but it looks bad too.

Same old song. Bad 1st half D.

The rate Titans is going, might be 70 pts by end of the game.  Embarrassing loss for the Colts today.....

Most points given up in a game this year, let alone a half.

nothing. Changing schemes is one thing. But there is nothing that can be done about just getting flat out beat man to man

Start beating your man.

    • VS Panthers @ Minnesota @ Detroit   I always look forward to these games, mainly to see the new guys.  This year it will be first time we see any of the QBs on the roster since … 2012?   As always, getting out of the preseason with no injuries is the first objective.  Winning games is the last (although I’m sure some will still complain is we lose).   So psyched for August!
    • Yep. And one of those variants happened last season...the other FOUR seasons ago.    Interestingly, another player with similar variance is his former teammate, Nick Foles. Wentz is a better QB, with more experience, but both had great seasons at age 24-25...followed by up and down play. And while Foles put it all together for a couple of stretches during his prime, he was still that same player with huge variance.   Like you said...it’s just unknown territory with a guy like Wentz. Nothing wrong with being optimistic and nothing with being unsure.
    • As of now just by the eye test (my eye test anyway), Luck was the better QB. I think many would agree. With the comeback wins, 3 straight 11 win seasons, etc. and he did it with no run game from 2012-2014. I hope Wentz can play like 2014 Luck where Luck threw for 40 TD's, if he does that we have a chance to win the SB
    • But Luck’s career stats are bogged down by his rookie season (which passer rating hated) and a season in which he actually was hurt.    Luck’s performance from age 27 (his season before he would play with Reich) was much better than Wentz’s age 28 season (his season before he will play here). Luck was ascending...Wentz fell fast. And Luck was on a pretty poor Colts roster with a bad OL in 2016. Wentz played awful in a not too dissimilar situation.   Good, let alone great, QBs don’t just bomb their early prime seasons like Wentz did.    A bounce back season (from where Wentz was last year) into a legit top 10 QB is unprecedented. Not saying it can’t happen, but the smart money would be against it.
    • I have us winning the Seattle game as well but losing to the Rams. Really no major reason but I can see it. Rams will be good IMO. Seattle will be good too but catching them early I think will favor us. We will see?
