A message to Colt fans

I will have to disagree with you big time.

I went to the Colts vs the Eagles game in Philly in 2010. 

We lost 26-24  Philly had Vick then.

During that game I had beer and food thrown on me and was hit in the back of the neck by a rock on my way out. 

I can take the names and the dirty looks but to be attacked like I was it was very bad. 

So IMO the bad rap is well deserved. There was a reason they had a jail cell in the stadium.

True enough, but it does color perception.  Even if this is just a problem that the eagles are allowing people to do this while other NFL teams have cracked down on it with better security . . . it's still somewhat telling.  

 

I just have yet to hear anything good about Eagles fans in comparison to how they treat visiting fans at their stadium.  

 

I know that's not scientific but it's sort of a "where there is smoke there is fire" sort of deal for me.

I hear ya’.  Am in the same boat with two older brothers.  We did a chat yesterday during the game talking trash, lol.  First half was tough, but I told them we do well in the 2nd half after making adjustments.  Seeing as it went to overtime I couldn’t trash them after it was over.  It was a battle just like I thought it would be.  And, yeah, I love them too much, too!

Agree.  My son lives up in the area and he is a lifelong Giants fan.  Says Eagles stadium fans are some of the worst.  Don’t ever go there wearing your colors.

I'm not sure about that.  Packers are really good.  It wouldn't surprise me if they won it all this year in all honesty.

Not that I’ve heard but we didn’t deserve to win anyway. You guys dominated us in the 2nd half. Those holding calls were bad too. You guys do have our number it seems.

Best of luck the rest of the year; I really don’t think the Packers are in that dire of straits, just taking care of the football and maybe not playing dime every single defensive snap and you’re looking at top three NFC team. 

 

If this makes you feel any better, one of my biggest prides as a Colts fan is telling people that the Packers have never won in Indy; that’s not an insult, but rather an indication of how well-respected the Packers are. You have no idea how cool it is to beat the Packers, because...well...they’re the Packers!!!

 

P.S.- Please beat Tennessee for us! We took care of the Lions, Bears, and Vikings, so I think it’s only fair....

No. I’ve never heard of a violent Packers fan. The only fanbases I’ve ever thought of as violent were the Raiders and Eagles
