I predict more holding  calls

The theme song of today's win

I predict no one will care about anyone else's predictions.     (I get this prediction right every week.  But no one cares...)

This is the time of the year when you have to stake your claim on what's rightfully yours.  We have to make a statement.  We took the division lead from them and the last thing they got coming to them is for us to give it back.  I could tell we were the better squad from the first matchup.  Time to rise to the occasion!

I haven't been able to watch the last couple of Colts games just listened to them on the radio.  But it seems they have gone a lot more no huddle the last two games and they do very well from it.  So, if the Colts play a significant up temp game on offense, I don't think the Titans can hang with the Colts.  But there are still a lot of unknowns.

  • Will Reich stick with JT, even if he fumbles or is not lighting it up to start?
  • Will Eberflus finally develop a 1st half game plan instead of waiting for the other team to have two scoring drives before he starts to figure out what they are doing and adjust things to stop it?
  • Now that Pittman is going to get more attention, will someone else step up and be that consistent WR that can beat zone or 1 on 1 matchups.
  • Will Reich play the field position game?  I don't remember the exact stat but last year most of Tenn's scoring drives were 60 yards or less.

    • Here’s the thing that most fans should remember.  Fans tend to judge players on what they have done.  GMs look at players based on what they think they can do.  So let’s just see how Davenport develops.  I also don’t think he was signed to be a starter.  He was signed to provide depth to a unit that badly needs it.
    • Once upon a time, Mark Glowinski was a below average talent.  So was Kenny Moore.  Now look at them.   Glow is a solid NFL player that we’re happy to have.  Moore is one of the top nickel corners, and he was cut by the Patriots.   And that kind of story happens all the time in the NFL.  A guy knocks around for a few years.   Suddenly he matures a little but physically and mentally.   He connects with his position coach in a way he hasn’t before.   He gets an opportunity and makes the most of it.     Id guess every NFL team has a Mark Glowinski.   I’d guess 1/4 to 1/2 of the teams have a Kenny Moore.   Even on Grigson’s watch we snagged Darius Butler.  These type of stories are common, especially if you have good scouting and good player development.   Dumpster diving for players is not a bad thing.  Very little downside and often plenty of surprising upside.
    • You know what I was saying. Let’s see Wentz actually play for the Colts before we compare his successes/failures to Rivers’ own.
    • I'm just linking what was reported.  I don't know what race has to do with this situation, or my comments.  I think the lens you are responsible for needs adjustment.    I don't confuse race with culture, or use the terms interchangeably.  Maybe that's how you read things.  Maybe that's how moderators read things, then attribute banned topics to someone who isn't even talking about them.   "They all", the ex....EX players who complain about culture, whatever they're talking about, amount to about 5 high profile players over the past 5 years, all of whom were either cut or not resigned.  Not sure why they are held up as the pedestal of defining what HOU is or is not.   What do the current 90 players on the team feel about the culture?  How about Tyrod, who just joined the team?  About 150 players have churned through the HOU roster in that time.  Many of them financially independent millionaires, free to say what they want. 150 to 5 have not complain about culture.  IMO, maybe the 5 need new lenses.   Its clearly reported what Watson's issue is with the team, and it started a month after he signed a new contract with a "bad" organization and just as the search for a new HC began.
