It helped because the afc south title is not guaranteed.

I see that it helped a bit, but it hurt more than it helped.  I think so anyway.   If the Titans would have lost yesterday, and the Colts beat them next week, the Colts would be 3 games up on them for the division.

It works out since we won and play the titans Sunday. Titans still have to go to GB. There is no guarantee we are going to win Sunday. This at least gives us some room if we don’t win the division. Browns and LV don’t have very hard schedules left.

That's why a Titans loss would have been so big yesterday.   The best route to making the playoffs is by winning the division and we would have been a game up on them.   It's done with now so it is what it is.

Imagine if the Bucs miss the playoffs after building a super team around Brady.

Still a long shot IMO, but definitely possible.

They will make it in but may get eliminated early. 7 teams getting in helps their cause. Saints will probably win that division though.

And I don't know about being eliminated early if they get that 5 seed.. facing a 6 or 7 win team is probably second best to getting the 1 seed. lmao

    • I think Mack can get good pay but it might come with some stipulations. He might have to play a certain amount of snaps, wr yards, or running yards.
    • I also think a lot of fans on the team would hate to be told that they'll have to skip the entire NFL draft because their organization is telling them to trust a single player they're bringing over is a good signing.
    • Who said anything about dropping the ball? I said IMPACT Player... In 2020 Doyle was thrown to an average of twice per game... TWO times a game, catching 1.5 passes a game, 3 TD's... There were more passes thrown per game out of bounds than to Doyle...   In 2018 Ebron was thrown to 7 times a game.. Catching 4.5 passes a game, 13 TD's   In fact, if you take Doyles targets per game for his entire career with the Colts his average is 3 targets(not catches) per game... THREE a game...   You call that IMPACT... ?? I call that Terrible   By comparison Kyle Rudolph career 4.5 targets per game   Zach Ertz... career 7.5 targets a game.....   I didn't want to use Kelsey or Kittle as that would skew this exercise   TJ Hockenson has a career target of 6 a game and he has missed 4 games...    Anyway, as I stated originally... Doyle and Rudolph are trash!! Definately not impact players   Who cares if he never really drops the ball... HE NEVER GETS THROWN TO. There is a reason why that is and it's called not in the game plan unless it's a last resort   Come on...
    • As great as Von Miller has been, you wonder if he'll translate to the 4-3 effectively. Clearly, Mathis did it in the opposite way, but you never know. Plus, the injuries...... is he the same player? Because he's going to want big time money. I'm not totally against it, but I'd feel better going with Okwara from Detroit, who is younger, an ascending talent and a true 4-3 DE.
    • Jones = Cousins with slightly less arm.
