Just rewatched the game and it is unbelievable how many times the linebackers were more than 10 yards down field. Why? The pass rush really isn't that bad(even with all the injuries), tighten up the defense, attack the line of scrimmage. It was 3rd and 7+ 6 times in the game and we only stopped them 2 times because of deep drops by the linebackers and db's playing 10 yards off. The offense is so good even with Flacco at qb,just average defense and this team will make the playoffs. The 50 years of soft, excessive cushion defense has to stop.
I know there’s a lot of concerns and issues currently with the Colts recently mainly on the defensive but let’s talk about some of the positives developments that seem to be overlooked.
It seems like we got our future C to replace Kelly. He has looked good. Alec Pierce is on pace for a career year and looks to finally be flourishing. OL as a whole has been one the best in the league after a slump in 22. Feel free to add any other positive developments you’ve seen.
He has an super ability. Perhaps the strongest arm.
And done a good job running for TD's.
Then he is about a 5+ on a 10 scale so far.
A long way to go.
Will he ever carry his team In the playoffs?
I think NBA wins with league pass though.. If i wanna watch a random Blazers game wed night, I can pay 4.99 or whatever to watch that game... at least this is how it used to be.
But yes, I agree the whole streaming service/sports is getting tiring... I'll just sail the 7 seas.
