Pittman makes another VLOG with his girl where we learn his recovery is going well but misses Lions game cause he eats too much Halloween candy.

As long as Bosco doesn't get into the halloween candy, it's all good...

Rivers goes home tonight and celebrates the victory by getting his wife pregnant with twins.

(He finally gets his own offense)

Reich buys the entire D and Eberflus steak dinners but tells them they can only eat half.

Pittman makes another VLOG with his girl where we learn his recovery is going well but misses Lions game cause he eats too many dog treats.

That will be the best case scenario.   If the Colts can avoid any Covid cases popping up for 2 weeks, the team should be much better coming out of the bye.

Hopefully the players will be smart and don’t put themselves in danger for covid this week. They aren’t allowed to leave town and have to be tested everyday so they should be fine.

I hope the Colts see Covid as an opportunity to gain advantage over other teams.  The Titans already have a bit of a disadvantage since they had to take their Bye week in week 4 of the season.  Not a huge disadvantage, but it is a little one.  I think the Colts week 7 bye is perfect.

I find it a bit odd that they seemingly have avoided harsh penalty for blatantly avoiding league protocol though.

I agree.  I'm disappointed in that.  It was pretty much cheating.  i was hoping it would have cost them a draft pick or 2.

I thought they were going to be fined some way.  But that story seemed to disappear.

Probably the league doesn't want to make this a story any more than it is.  So they're putting a positive slant on it for the brand's sake and sweeping this under the rug.

Overall, I think the league has done an incredible job with this situation.  Obviously it's a lot harder than the NBA with so many extra people involved.  I'm just happy to have football!

    • I could actually see Watson going there, I never believed Tua would be great either. Too injury prone for one and as a rookie he didn't look good. Fitzpatrick looked better IMO. 3 scenario's I could see playing out are Watson gets traded to Miami, Rodgers gets traded to SF, and Stafford gets traded to us. We will see how accurate I am with this, Rodgers may even retire? I don't see him playing another game another game in GB, his body language after that loss was bad.
    • Here's the Lions team needs (farther below), so Oke would fit the bill. Given his performance and PFF though this year, not sure he'd be something that tilted the scale. If Carolina, Denver, Dallas, or San Fran wanted to be players, we'd have to make up a decent delta between draft picks. So for instance, if Detroit's asking price is a first, and next year's second,   San Fran's #12 is basically worth our #12 AND our #54 out of the gate. And we'd still have to give them next year's 2nd. Oke isn't worth a #54 IMO. Rock might perk their interests given CB is a primary need. It's a decent draft for CBs, so not sure he'd close the gap either. Also something to consider, Detroit's cap space is about zero. They'd save of course 20ish by letting Stafford go, but still won't be looking to spend big (so our rooks, on rook deals, might be attractive).   Primary - QB, WR, CB Secondary - LB, IDL, OT, LB, IDL Ancillary - WR, S, EDGE No need - TE, RB   Here are the teams and draft pick that could be looking for a QB before us 8 Carolina 9 Denver 10 Dallas 11 NYG 12 San Fran 15 Pats 19 Wash 20 Chicago   Bears and Giants are in the negative on cap space, Panthers don't have a much (5.5). San Fran 9.3, but they'd save by cutting Jimmy.
    • Another Maryland Terp Alumni. Maybe Boomer Eisiason is the next hire !
    • i disagree with the adjective "very", and also think he'd need tier 1 WRs, which the Colts don't have. He's just way to limited.
    • As I said, the biggest mistake was the lack of stadium. We should have built it for Rosenbloom, but once they traded franchises , they should have built one for Irsay. That was the main point, it was all about money and revenue.  I believe Irsay would have moved eminent domain , or not. The reason Baltimore brought eminent domain is because they thought it was a done deal that he was going to move, based on the negotiations he and Chernoff were having in numerous cities. You have to also remember he was still making money in Baltimore, just not as much as he possibly could in another city. The attendance was depressed because of the product on the field , destroying the mid- seventies teams, Elway, the helicopter drop in at Jacksonville, etc. I’m not defending eminent domain , but just explaining what led up to it, as well as low Colt attendance at the time.
