Your Indianapolis Colts (3-2) look to return to winning ways when they face the Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) at home this Sunday. They will play this one without TE Mo Alie-Cox (Out), T Chaz Green (Out)

Keeping a player down when a team is running hurry up is unsportsmanlike conduct refs,  you’ve called every tricky tack call you can make against the Colts call the obvious ones on the bengals please.

Ahh Blackmon... fast becoming a gamechanger

This needed to happen the colts were to content thinking they were a aging QB away from being a superbowl team .  Ballard thought since jacoby was so bad and AV missing 15 kicks that with rivers the team would be elite .   This is why i am for starting eason because the colts are not a playoff team .  Let him just get some reps in , if he looks good it can give the team energy .

Our D is again, Charmin soft.

I called it in the matchup thread this week. I called it last week.

Philip is 3 for 3 for those that can't help bashing him.... Good grief he has zero to do with what is happening.

This is exactly why looking at stats/highlights isolation can be misleading.  Defense lays a total egg so far and that puts more pressure on an offense that basically has minimal firepower for big plays

Do I think Andrew Luck could take this team to a Super Bowl the way they are playing right now?  Not even a chance.  So far today Rivers play hasn’t been a factor one way or another.  In fact the short passes from the QB is the one thing that’s gone well so far.

So I think we can both agree the defense absolutely stinks today haha

I hate the up and downs of the Colts. It's so inconsistent.

I agree with everybody tho. Even our play calling is adjusted for Rivers' weak arm. We consistently throw 3-5 yard routes. It's not fun to watch

reich can only call  a very limited offense with short passes .  teams know this and play the run and press our wrs .   Rivers is holding back the offense

doesn't matter. he's not the problem. his check downs average 9 yards a piece.

and do you see how close Cinci is playing up on, and pressing our pass catchers.

that is not, Charmin soft...

Rivers isn't the direct issue today but they know he can't push the ball and our WRs aren't very good. Also there is no threat of the QB escaping the pocket when bringing pressure of playing man

Without a doubt.  Anyone who still thinks this defense is elite is kidding themselves.  Yet if they come out and play well in the second half and Rivers throws a pick it will be all Rivers fault and there will be a thread talking about how great The defense is.

I don’t know if it’s the alcohol clouding my judgement, but I’m starting to move to this opinion as well. The team is trash today. Getting blown out by the young and inexperienced Bengals with one of the worst offensive lines in the nation.

It’s as you say, we’re very boring, even in the games we win.

All the nonsense excuses about our great locker room are getting tiring.  Theres issues here that are not getting fixed.  Primarily at QB.  I still blame the * that waited until the last possible minute to bail.... Rivers ain't it.  I just wish we'd pull the plug on that mistake faster than we did JB or AV.....but, they won't..... God knows how long were gonna ride this out, only difference is it looks like the team has actively given up on Phil....

Colts looking really sharp, now we have to rely on Rivers the rest of the game. . .

Yet everyone will ignore what put them in that position and only focus on the INTs he inevitably throws when the other team knows he has to take chances.

    • I'm just linking what was reported.  I don't know what race has to do with this situation, or my comments.  I think the lens you are responsible for needs adjustment.    I don't confuse race with culture, or use the terms interchangeably.  Maybe that's how you read things.  Maybe that's how moderators read things, then attribute banned topics to someone who isn't even talking about them.   "They all", the ex....EX players who complain about culture, whatever they're talking about, amount to about 5 high profile players over the past 5 years, all of whom were either cut or not resigned.  Not sure why they are held up as the pedestal of defining what HOU is or is not.   What do the current 90 players on the team feel about the culture?  How about Tyrod, who just joined the team?  About 150 players have churned through the HOU roster in that time.  Many of them financially independent millionaires, free to say what they want. 150 to 5 have not complain about culture.  IMO, maybe the 5 need new lenses.   Its clearly reported what Watson's issue is with the team, and it started a month after he signed a new contract with a "bad" organization and just as the search for a new HC began.
    • 2017: Good: Garett Bolles  Worst: Solomon Thomas Colts: Malik Hooker Late: Eddie Jackson/George Kittle   2018: Good: Darius Leonard Worst - Josh Jackson? Colts Darius Leonard, Quenton Nelson,  Late - Fred Warner?    2019: Good - DK Metcalf  Worst - Jerry Tillery Colts - Parris Campbell Late - Chauncey Gardner-Johnson   2020 Good - Tristan Wirfs Worst - Jordan Love(too early?) Colts - Michael Pittman Jr Late - Alex Highsmith?
    • IDK man. I watched every game last year, and several twice. TY simply isn't get a lot of separation (unless he's running in the seam). Compare the other WRs to TY. Here's all the pass catchers from 2020, and I included TY's from 2019 too.   TY20 - 1.26 TY19 - 1.5 PC20 - 2.11 MP20 - 1.58 ZP20 - 1.16 MJ20 - 1.64 DH20 - 1.4 JD20 - 1.2 MAC20 - 1.57 TB20 - 1.11   It looks pretty much like my eyes thought across the board. Looking at River's advanced stats,.... River's "on target" and "bad throw" %s weren't bad. Both Brady and Mahomes had higher bad throw %s than Rivers. Along with my eyes, there just really isn't a stat out there that supports placing the blame on Rivers (over TY).
    • I’m excited for his connection with Big Mo. Similar to Luck Wentz loves his TEs and hopefully he gets more involved on offense.
