To be fair, he was already mid suplex when the whistle was blown.

If the ref had swallowed his whistle and choked to death on it on the sidelines it was still a penalty.

And as a trained professional wrestler whoever it was that took it is lucky he didn’t break his damn neck. I’ve never understood why teams don’t teach players to bump like we do. It would save a lot of injuries in a season. There’s a reason wrestlers are able to do that 2 dozen times a night 4 nights a week for 25+ years, even into their senior years. Teach them to protect themselves.

Your Indianapolis Colts (3-2) look to return to winning ways when they face the Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) at home this Sunday. They will play this one without TE Mo Alie-Cox (Out), T Chaz Green (Out)

Keeping a player down when a team is running hurry up is unsportsmanlike conduct refs,  you’ve called every tricky tack call you can make against the Colts call the obvious ones on the bengals please.

Ahh Blackmon... fast becoming a gamechanger

Jesus fox’s coverage is awful. Please someone make this stop...

Agreed, the only highlights they showed were from the Bengals. Didn’t show any of those great throws from Rivers and unpack the come back

Harris rocking the #12 officially puts the final nail in Luck’s Colts career?

I think in Ballards mind that nail was there the day he retired.  I’ve said from the way Ballard has talked about luck even if he came back Ballard wouldn’t welcome him.  Irsay may overrule him but I don’t think Ballard wants luck back.

With our history of injuries I’d try anything.

If you watch walker on that play it tells the story before the flag even came out he’s doing the what are you doing thing with his arms.  They knew.

I agree. Ballard was not happy at all.

I know. I isn't really about the Johnson vs Hilton matchup.

Just using him as a reference point.

Are we in developmental time though, or win now?

I think Johnson gives us better chance in the present.

If the season is a wash, get Patmon and Dulin in there.

All teams "develop" their youth during the season. It's not a case where developing guys means you aren't trying to win now. Fountain and Dulin have been open when given snaps (when not clear out or rub decoys), and are both 2 of 3.

Like I said, its simply mixed feelings. Not sure why you have an issue with that. I'm happy Johnson is contributing and playing well. I'm not cheering against him.

Arms straight out, palms down, and most importantly tuck your chin to your chest. Make sure you land with your feet flat. If you can’t, keep them in the air, you don’t want to smack your heels. Distributes the impact across your shoulders and arms. I’ve never taken a bump and been hurt. May get the wind knocked out on some of the harder or faster ones, but even that is rare. I’ve never understood why they don’t teach players to land like that when the situation arises.

it makes sense too and I'm not even mad at it

Same, it's going to be an interesting phase of the league as the last few of the 'old guard' ride off into the sunset. I think we had a core era of the likes of Manning/Manning/Brady/Brees/Rivers and we're transitioning into the next set of franchise guys.

    • It's a pipe dream. It's not happening.
    • There’s a very easy pick for the Jaguars to make but let’s see if they make it lol.
    • Crap, sorry.   with the 129th pick, the Seahawks select:   Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn   If that doesn’t make Russell Wilson happy, then 7@€# him!   @crazycolt1and the Jags are aim the clock.
    • Watson started this recent public trade thing by stating that the organization has flawed hiring practices.  And I think he never debunked the idea that the current owner was a lot like his father, simply because he is his son.   Its not really about the next season or even the team's won loss record over the next three years.  Its bigger than that.  I think it would be smarter to not accommodate whiners, and in a legal manner, not set the precedent of accommodating someone who conducts detrimental actions that undermines the new coach and the authority structure of the organization.   If you accommodate Watson, you set the precedent that all whiners need to be accommodated or else you end up singling some out for disparate treatment.  This shows what a cancer players like Watson are to an entire organization.    And, I would think a player like that has limited trade value, despite the rumors.  I would  simply move on from him....forget he even exists...would be the less time consuming and smarter move.  If he wants to sit out, fine, but I'm drafting this spring with the idea that he's going to try to put me at a disadvantage and wait until after FA and the draft before he tells me he wont play next year.   There is some root of the problem that has yet to be revealed.   If its about making bad personnel decisions, resulting in a losing record, I get that....but the HC, OBrien who was responsible for those moves was fired months ago.  Seems like Watson and Watt are still holding some kind of grudge over something, or simply launching their marketing brand by grandstanding.   If I were the GM, I'd just ignore Watson until he apologized for those statements instead of honoring his wishes, and then if the team struggles, show to the whole world what people like that can do to a team, blame the teams failure's over a whiner sitting out the season too arrogant and stubborn to apologize for something he should not have said in the first place.
