I def did, cuz until that point he hasn't consistently shown he can. Lets hope he continues

Reich's O is not a push-it-downfield offense.

It's a dink/dunk and occasion shot O.

Maybe you need to reset your expectations lol...

Your Indianapolis Colts (3-2) look to return to winning ways when they face the Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) at home this Sunday. They will play this one without TE Mo Alie-Cox (Out), T Chaz Green (Out)

Keeping a player down when a team is running hurry up is unsportsmanlike conduct refs,  you’ve called every tricky tack call you can make against the Colts call the obvious ones on the bengals please.

Ahh Blackmon... fast becoming a gamechanger

Yeah , it was getting a little ridiculous over the past week hearing how Brissett can give equal play.

I still maintain that if the O-line (specifically run blocking) and defense played like expected, Rivers is able to function and succeed as designed

Rivers has definitely cost us, but you're spot on. There's a lot of other things contributing to our woes than just Rivers.

I swear. This team gets an inflated ego when they have some success.

Right? Yelling and hollering and celebrating like they’re so badass? Like look at the scoreboard hooligans... you’ve given up 24 points in one half.

Hey that’s a great name for our defense! The Hooligans, or maybe Boneheads?

No. 99 times out of 100 a snap to your backup TE is going nowhere. Or worse. We got lucky with the play, now get rid of it because it won’t work ever again.

So your focusing on what didn't happen on that play more than what did lol, that's a new level of looking at a glass half empty. It was one trick play that got the TD.

But don’t worry if they play well in the second half when the bengals go into don’t make a mistake mode with a big lead and Rivers throws an inevitable pick when teams know he has to take chances this will all be rivers fault and there will be thread talking about how elite the defense is.

Yup. Rivers is the easy target for folks that can't see the other issues. Most folks don't understand zone from man, let alone different coverages, and have zero clue how to critique OL performance or play calling. INTs are just the bright shiny objects.

    • Bringing Autry and Houston back over Watt is a reasonable take.  Believing that Houston is aging better while not necessarily provable is also fairly reasonable.    Saying JJ Watt is not a fit for the Colts’ defense is completely unreasonable. Watt’s skill set fits any defense.
    • I think so. The offense should be gelled and peaking. Or young players should be developed and our stars still in their prime... Barring any major injuries of course.      Obviously though it's still a stretch to think they could match a few of the great years we had with Peyton.
    • I think we’ll be able to afford a serviceable backup QB while still addressing those other positions.  Keep in mind that at least several of them are likely to be the focus of the draft.  So they will be cap friendly.   But we need to have a backup QB who can play.    Wentz isn’t exactly Cal Ripken, Jr.
    • Wentz is injury prone - thus the whole 70-75% of the snaps thing.   We need a backup QB who is genuinely ready to step on the field when called upon.  If they have that confidence in Eason, that’s fine.  That would be the best situation.  But if they don’t, then I’d advocate using some of our cap space to sign a cheaper vet.  I wouldn’t be very confident in “another rookie” we just “found.”  And, in all likelihood, we’re not going to be drafting one...we have some critical needs to fill.
