Your Indianapolis Colts (3-2) look to return to winning ways when they face the Cincinnati Bengals (1-3-1) at home this Sunday. They will play this one without TE Mo Alie-Cox (Out), T Chaz Green (Out)

Keeping a player down when a team is running hurry up is unsportsmanlike conduct refs,  you’ve called every tricky tack call you can make against the Colts call the obvious ones on the bengals please.

Ahh Blackmon... fast becoming a gamechanger

I thought we could lose to this Bengals team, we are seriously missing Leonard on Defense, He was the leader and kept everyone in the game. Although I thought they would do better than this but our Offense needs to actually get a drive going.

This is bigger than Leonard

yea rivers only threw 3 check downs though .   he cant push the ball down field so it limits the offense

Not disagreeing with you but Rivers is mediocre at best.  But when we went to run the ball and we can’t like we have all year...you don’t have a chance with Rivers noodle arm unfortunately

to you both.... why be whiney "you know what's" about Rivers right now when he has zero to do with what's happening.

Our D sucks. Reich's game plan, game prep, and play calling sucks. When Rivers tosses an INT or makes a bad pass, let me know.

This formula, what we're trying to do with a 39 year old QB, only works if you have a defense and running game.  Currently we don't.

We did prior to this year though, at least a running game....Taylor being in the gun every snap is a complete waste.

Enough!!!

Irsay should terminate their (Reich and Eberflus) contracts immediately. Horrific defense. Almost as bad as the offense.

Burrow and Bengals looked like one of the worst teams last week losing by 24(!) points. Now up 21 against the Colts?!

Don’t give me the Leonard excuse - one star player being out shouldn’t lead to a total collapse.

But don’t worry if they play well in the second half when the bengals go into don’t make a mistake mode with a big lead and Rivers throws an inevitable pick when teams know he has to take chances this will all be rivers fault and there will be thread talking about how elite the defense is.

Buckner just got driven back about 100 yards.

Venturi says same for Houston too. Like it was a Blue wave retreat.

does anyone else think the defense is checked out because the offense is so bad

but like, look at what Jacksonville had to deal with for 2 years in a row with bortles. That defense was lighting it up all year with all those divas all while carrying that offense

This is exactly why looking at stats/highlights isolation can be misleading.  Defense lays a total egg so far and that puts more pressure on an offense that basically has minimal firepower for big plays

I look at stats all day long, and I've been saying our D is charmin soft since Week 1 vs Jax. You can both appreciate stats and not agree with them. But you can also see many stats that would suggest we're not that good on D.

It’s a political act. If he is (or was) allowed to subject me to it during a football game then I am allowed to criticize him for it during a football game.

That has nothing to do with what’s going on the field.  Stop trying to drag this into this because you don’t like it.  Was it an issue when they dismantled the Jets?  If not.  Then stop.

    • Like @NewColtsFan said "for what it's worth"   My response to those power rankings is "Which bowl game does it mean we'll get?"
    • Ballard still trying to find his next Peanut Tillman (Bears) at CB.     Quincy Wilson was strike one, Ya-Sin is strike two...    Ya-Sin is strike two
    • Not directed at either above comment just a general thought about this...   Do you think Chris Berman, Tony Gonzalez, Jim Nanz, etc watch all 16 NFL games each week or do you think they watch 2 or 3 and someone (an intern) watches the games and provides them summary notes? I wonder if a personality, like Phil Simms, actually does know more about the Colts than a regular fan. Guys like Nate Burelson make me think they watch all or at least most of the games but others I'm not so sure.   Thoughts?
    • Not really.   The overall talent level right now with Rivers and our IR'd skill players is about the overall same level as when he had a more talented QB, less talent on defense, and Donald Thomas and Gosder Cherilous on IR back then.   The main difference is that back then, we were maxed out at getting over the hump because we spent to the maximum Cap number just to get into the playoffs (but didn't mortgage the future), whereas now we still have room to maintain our talent level while adding more.   So we will resign the good players, and add more rookies who can (hopefully) play.  And then we'll be in position to win just like every other sports league team that wins and is pressed against the cap...they get rookies who are in their 2nd 3rd or 4th years to vastly contribute more to the team than the level of salary they are being compensated at in their rookie contracts.   Its either done that way (like SEA did when they got those young drafted defensive players and Wilson pre-big contract) or you simply load up on FAs to win now and mortgage the future (which doesn't seem to work out well in the NFL)
    • nah after last weeks game Trevor went on twitter thanking all his Clemson fans for his final home game there
