Bengals Colts Predictions

Recommended Posts

I'm convinced this colts offense won't put up 30+ points for the rest of the season if Rivers keeps playing like he has.

Colts 22 Bengals 13

Rivers 220 yards 1 int

Burrow 250 yards 2 int

Honestly don't know much about the Bengals other than Joe Burrow looks like a really good QB. So this is practically a shot in the dark guess. If our defense doesn't show up, you can consider the game over cause no way in hell Rivers gets a win without help.

Joe Burrow is legit even though he has taken plenty of big hits. Bengals have a bright future. If they are smart, the draft several Offensive lineman.

If we were healthier, this would be be a Colts victory by at least 10 pints.

How the offense is playing, Colts win by 5-6 points.

Joe Burrow is the real deal, however he doesn't have much help. If you think Reich's playcalling is bad, just wait until you see the Bengals offense... Their lines on both sides of the ball aren't very good, so Houston and Buckner should be able to feast all day.

And the Bengals secondary is ridiculously bad, especially in hurry-up situations.

Colts win

34-17

There’s always overreaction by fans and media, after a loss.
One thing I do know: both the players and coaches can do better.
I said 10-6, prior to the season and I’m sticking to it.

Colts win 27 to 18.

Bengals don't have the edge rusher that the Browns do.  They don't have the receivers the Browns do. . .  Burrow is just a rookie so he can be had with a good defensive game plan.

The defense has been very good (outside of yesterday 1st half...) so I can't see this being a high-scoring game on the Bengal's side (barring horrible offensive turnovers). Colts should win the game. But the offense can't keep relying on multiple interception games and ST TDs to cover for its terrible efficiency. 24-13 Colts.

I wanna predict a W but I’ve just got a feeling that Rivers is in for a rough stretch/turnover streak.

Flus is gonna have to make sure we get some pressure this time and rattle the rookie QB, who looks great btw.

I'll say Colts 24 Bengals 13 since we are at home and coming off a loss.

However, Rivers needs to make better decisions, we need to run Taylor more and we need AC back at LT.  We can win without Leonard to give him more time to heal.

My main concern with the Bengals is Mixon...gotta contain him.  Not sure if Green will be back for them, but if not, then we contain Boyd and we'll be okay.

I want to see more blitzes against the rookie QB.

    • Not sure why a couple people are confused about this thread, it's a fair question that people were also considering last season (with JB and Kelly). I was in the camp last year that thought we should have started Kelly once we were out of playoff contention and I have the same stance this season, we have to see what we've got in Eason at some point and it would make sense if there is no chance of playoffs. I wouldn't be totally shocked if Reich didn't play him even if this was the case though.
    • I swear, for a team that's been mediocre (and that's being generous) over the past decade, normally sneaking into the playoffs because of freak accidents in the division (like Rodgers injuries), they seem to get a fair amount of primetime games every year. Are they still riding on that 85 Bears magic or something? Do they pull in good ratings because of their name? I don't get it. I watched the first couple of drives to see how the game would fare out, and when it went largely as predicted, I muted the TV and just kept it on in the background while I did other things. And 99% of Bears/Packers primetime games involve 45-10 Packers blowouts.   I have ragged on the Cowboys getting a ton of primetime games when they've only won two or three playoff games in the last 25 years, but they normally have a decent team and you are always pulling for them to lose. The Bears have neither of those characteristics.   Speaking of primetime, the Bills will be on a TV near you for the next month (Monday Night @ 49ers, Sunday Night vs. Steelers, Saturday Night @ Broncos, Monday Night @ Patriots, and it's always possible the Week 17 game vs. the Dolphins could be flexed into a national audience if the division/playoff spot comes down to that game).
    • I think rivers has been okay for us but as expected nothing special. It's a tough decision to make for next season, and next season we face the whole NFC West and AFC East with Lawrence likely going to Jets and Fields likely going to Jags making the 'easy matchups' look a bit tougher. Either we go all or nothing with Eason or keep Rivers and probably be mediocre with a punchers chance of victory every time we play.
    • That truly was a terrible angle Willis took. Could've been held to just a bad 20 yard play on that one.
