The winless Jets (0-2) visit the Indianapolis Colts (1-1) who are coming off a dominating win against the Minnesota Vikings. The Colts are looking to build on momentum from that victory with another w

Rivers benched. I knew we shouldn't have signed him

Does he have a grandma? Just wondering....

Good lord, get off Taylor's back people! His vision was fine on the opening drive when he went for 12 yards up the middle to set up the first TD. He isn't Trent Richardson, take a chill pill. We are up 17-7 and some still complain. lmao

Calm down. It’s not complaining to point out a lane wide enough for a truck was there for him but he ran into his OL.

Mack would've been crazy with those holes. Like I said hopefully Mack can mentor him on that.

Yeah, Taylor should have gone outside on the 3rd and 3, both Frank and Philip were indicating that.

Our DL is getting pushed around.

If the hole opens right in front of him yes.  I rarely see him looking for holes to the outside and he passes them up often when they are there.

So was Frank bad mouthing him when he pointed it out to Rivers?

    • Zach Hicks with Stampede Blue has a nice article about Trey Lance today.    https://www.stampedeblue.com/2020/12/5/22154397/college-scouting-notebook-full-analysis-of-ndsu-qb-trey-lance?utm_campaign=stampedeblue&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter   It's hard to project where Lance will go but he is certainly one to watch. Right now it seems like Lance could be a top 15 pick so it would take a trade up to make happen. (which I think the Colts would do if they really believe in the player)
    • He's been injured twice in 3 years while in Indy, both very unrelated. Both in the same year, one a neck strain (missed a game) and then the broken ankle. Let's not act like he's been on IR for 3 years straight, or constantly getting dinged up.   And can't afford? He's on a rookie deal making about 1.3/year, and under contract through 2021....
    • He makes $1.6m next year with a little under 500k dead cap. So at least another year.
    • Yup. Jax and Houston give up sacks (both top 10 in sacks allowed), so he could get 4 more with a little luck in those 3 games.  LVR and Pitt don't give up many.
    • Turay is an injury-prone player...plain and simple. I don't know how long the Colts can afford to keep him around.
