This injury announcement came as such a surprise. No indication from missed practices. No missed single games. All of the sudden -- BOOM -- projected multiple games. Why is this? I would say probably because Pittman is tough, and doesn't let injury affect his preparation and play. He gets out there, injured or not. In other words, you don't see him writhing on the ground in agony one play, and then begging to be let back into the game two plays later.
I'll save you the headache:
"We gotta make plays"
"Limit explosive plays"
"Do we think our front can win?"
"We make contact but aren't finishing"
"Driving for 5"
"Checkdown got some yards, so we went man, they hit a screen, we had to regroup"
"Win the 1 on 1's"
"We're taking a good look at that"
Really should just say "We know how they play, we just don't adjust"
Wow, that sucks. It must've been pretty bad cuz MPJ is a warrior.
It's hard to believe how many players/how much of Indy's cap is hurt this year.
Here's hoping Mitchell steps up and sheds his whole scared to get hit persona.
