Rivers is over 300 yards, but he threw 3 picks and all of them were bad. Stats will show two but man he’s made some stupid decisions.

I’m about done with these coaches. Same crap every year. Ballard has done a good job but have to have coaches that can motivate and get players ready to play. They obviously can’t.

 

And Rivers throwing picks does not surprise me. He had been doing that a lot the last couple of years.

It took Rivers 56:36 to wear out his welcome with me. 3 picks today, and every single one of them coming on throws that should have never been made. 
 

He channeled his inner Jacoby and never even looked at anyone else on that last one...

If today is any indication on the season, this team is going 6-10. Get the defense fixed NOW and establish the run, so that Rivers doesn't have to carry us.

Fixed?  The players are mostly there, the coaching seems lax....

Well just like last years opener was on Vinny, this one is on Rivers. 10 points off his TOs. We brought in a vet to avoid plays like those.

This isn't unusual, we play extreme soft zone which is basically gifting passes.  Teams never need to run, just throw 8 yard passes all day and win.

All three picks have been inexcusable. And some of the throws he has completed have been into tight enough coverage that he really probably shouldn’t have thrown them...

Gotta get a TD and point after if we want a chance to just make OT now. Shouldn’t have been in this position. I still put 80% of this on our amazingly lackluster defense. Where is Leonard ? I mean we just haven’t had any player on D getting it done. Well Houston has helped he’s probably the best player on the D for today.

Hmmmmmm. Werent numerous polsters calling me Negative before the season?  I didnt jump on the Rivers bandwagon.  I have zero confidence in this defensive scheme. And remeber,this is Ballards choice of D system and D coach. Minshew has missed 1 pass and has 3 tds. Let that sink in. I said in numerous times this team will no go far with this defensive system. Everyone thought Buckner would complete this D. It is early and win or lose. This is not a good showing
