No way.  That dude had me send him 10k to free him from a Nigerian Prison back in the early 2000's and his father, the King of The ofogono tribe, never repaide tenfold ...  I don't trust him any longe

https://www.nfl.com/news/player-cuts-tracker-nfl-teams-finalize-53-man-rosters-for-2020-season   Figured they’ll start rolling in soon

Hence why I said it would be a surprise cut...  I didn't say I think they will, I said that I think the surprise cut, if any, would be Jacoby.   That said, if the Colts FO is making choices

I bet the browns take fountain

They've got a pretty decent 1-4.

I guess they could, but it's a dice roll without film.

Still thinking PS

Agreed

3 hours left

Johnson could surprise, but I think Dulin and Patmon offer the most.

Demarious Randall could add some depth to the secondary. Wouldn’t mind him if he’s cheap. Same with Clinton-Dix.

Looks like AP is finally done. Bryce Love time!

ESPN reported 3-4 teams already dialing up AP.

At the time I was all for seeing the team go after either Mohammed Sanu or Danny Amendola to cement that role and provide experienced depths.  I still think either of those players would be a good add.

Mohamed Sanu looked like garbage at camp according to beat reporters who watched him. They posted a video of wideouts going through drills and concluded that his footwork was terrible and breaks sloppy. I cut him from my dynasty team based on that one report because it was so negative. Maybe he just had a bad drill.

Good chance and/or they have to keep a true backup C

He was given a big signing bonus for an UDFA so there ia a good chance, especially woth Eldrenkamp being waived.

Biggest shock so far, at least on terms of how he has performed

Not for me.  The line is deep and often times to win a job when you are the end of the roster someone has to lose it.  I don’t think that happened.   The only wrinkle is the day injury situation.  Other than that the guys above him showed they deserved to be in the NFL too.

Doesn't sound to promising on him being on the PS.

IDK. Doubt they would tell him they don't want him on the PS. And IIRC correctly, other teams can't contact them until after 4pm.

Regardless, I hope he lands somewhere and does well, but selfishly I want him on the PS.

I agree to an extent, they might not tell him they're not going to sign him to PS, bit you would definitely think they would tell him they were going to try.

I hope he is retained as well, but that poat gives me a little reservation.

It was just the most shocking name up to that point, everyone else was pretty much expected.

Felt he at least had an outside chance of making the squad.

IMO, they'll want 2 WRs on the PS, and Fountain was likely top 8. Even if they weren't sure they wanted him back, they don't know what's going to happen to other guys they may want more. As a rule, I'd guess the FO would try to say as little as possible giving they're just not sure what will happen.

I am so sad about fountain. That kid worked his butt off to get back and looked good in camp the way it sounded. If he clears waivers hopefully he will be back. He just needs a chance.

Agreed. He’s got major potential but in Ballard/reich we trust

    • You're going to get responses to this about how Indy isn't Philly or NY or Chicago (maybe a snide remark about LA as well). Just my prediction.   But I don't want the media to be rude, nasty, impatient, or harsh. I don't need them to grill the coaches, players and staff. I'd just like to have them ask real questions, rather than trying to find clever ways to figure out things the staff isn't going to talk about.    And over the last four years now, there's been a ton of uncertainty about the QB position, which isn't normal for a city that had really stable QBing for 20 years. I think some of them are lost. Some of them spent the last five years of the Polian regime doing nothing but hating Polian. Some of them are new to Indy, so these probably are not good excuses for them.    I don't get it. I'm not a journalist, I don't think I can do their jobs better than they do. But I do think they could easily ask better questions in these pressers, which would lead to better things to write about, better things to talk about on their TV/radio spots, better podcasts, etc. I think Dakich is a buffoon most of the time, but I absolutely agree with him that the Indy media isn't good at covering the Colts. (He's also hypocritical, because he was Grigson's bootlicker.)
    • No, not always. But this is likely TY's last big payday. If I were in his shoes, I would maximize my earnings....to a point. I million more guaranteed?......no. But 5-10 million more guaranteed? Absolutely.
    • Reports that the Texans are not planning on tagging Will Fuller.     Hard to know what his market will be. Probably $12-14m per year I’d say. That said, I think the Colts should definitely be looking into him. He is the perfect deep threat WR to go with Pittman at X and Parris in the slot. He would have had a 1,000+ yard season if it weren’t for his suspension last year.
    • Like I've said before - been a sports fan of multiple teams from throughout the world. Indy media is just horrible. It's the worst  and most uninspiring group of reporters/beat writers/analysts/media personalities I've ever had the displeasure of following. Just straight up garbage. It's telling when the two best things I've seen/heard/read from Colts media this year have been by Dan Dakich(Ballard and Cosell interviews, mainly because of the guests). How is it possible for the whole media market to be so bad?
    • Interesting comment.   Are you saying a player should always go to the highest bidder?    Because players discount their services all the time for a wide variety of reasons.
