Didn’t Reich say he will be cleared by Sept. then I think he said it might be oct before he plays. Has to get in football shape. He looked pretty much healed.

Noticed that, too... which is a good sign.

 

Otherwise, looks like those guys all had fun and seemed fairly comfortable up there which hopefully is a sign of a good team environment.

The Colts are one of the few organizations that don't haze their rookies, primarily because they expect them to contribute right away and buy into the shoe and not the name on their back....hard to build cohesive locker rooms when rookies are getting treated like 2nd class citizens!

Peyton used to brag about ways to “welcome” the rookies and Dungy even said it was part of training camp fun as long as it didn’t get out of hand.  I know that was different staff but Reich took a lot of his coaching style from his time with the Colts.  Hazing happens but it’s not out of hand.

McAfee talked about that on his show.  They had fun, but no taping guys to the goal posts or shaving their heads.  He said they were there to contribute.   
 

If you guys get a chance check out Pittman’s YouTube post of his first day in the practice facility.   He shows all the gear that’s waiting for him in his locker.  As well as the testing and precautions they’re taking.

That’s still hazing it’s just not over the top with it.  Of course they are going to take care of the guys on the field, all teams do that because the goal is to win.  Even the broncos who were famous for their rookie haircuts took care of the rookies when it came time to play.
