Leonard #50 in NFL's topo 100

Recommended Posts

This list is by far the worse list that comes out every year. The NFL Network says it is done by the players but a lot of players were questioned about that in the past and said they had no vote. Leonard should be top 40 at worse, probably around 30. Same for Buckner.

It's obvious who the NFL Network does and doesn't like.

I agree, I am not buying that is just some of the players voting on this. Buckner at 56 is a joke as well. Any player that has played against Buckner would not rank him that low.

Not to mention Castonzo has never made the list. He is probably the most under appreciated Colts player in the league. Anthony is a top LT and proved it last year.

Agreed that Leonard should be top 40 at least.

Well Castonzo has been the least appreciated player right here in this forum. For a few years right here in this forum there were plenty of fans who disrespected him.

The Colts in general are overlooked by most all medias.

Big Q is the only one who any attention is given to. That's because his is considered one of the best if not the best at his position. He plays a position that normally don't get the attention.

Leonard plays a position where there are quite a few great players in that position.

I feel DL. However, Julio Jones at 11 is the biggest knock.

I agree.

I think Michael Thomas got a little too much love for breaking Marvs receptions record.  Thomas is good, but better than Jones and Nuk?

And McCaffrey and Henry are good, but two RBs in the top 10?

McCaffrey is more a total football player than a RB. Just my opinion. He is as close to Faulk as there has been since Faulk as far as running and catching. Different types of runners but the results can be compared. He hasn't had the QB that Faulk had either.

angry homer simpson GIF, to the people that do this list lol. He should've at least made the top 100, that is crazy.

Rivers had a very poor season on a very poor team last year.   This is what happens.  You become NFL Roadkill.

Hey, if it makes our top players all play the “disrespect” card, then I’m all for it!

Hmmmmmm. So I get crapped on for saying Leonard is over rated.  I guess his peers agree with me ;)

Not sure being ranked #50 by his peers is them saying he is over rated.

Absolutely true.  Castonzo is one of the most underrated players in the entire game and he's even under rated on his own team.  He rarely misses games too.

    • I will be curious to see if we do beat the Lions then beat the Ravens, if that happens we will be 6-2 and the games will really begin then
    • What happened to all the posters saying we shoulda signed Dalton?    Announcers were like “Dalton was down 21-0, there wasn’t much he could do.”   Rivers found a way BABY!!
    • Sure, the luck thing was a curveball. That was 1.33 seasons ago though. And having Luck, or not having Luck, has nothing to do with a lot of the things I see, or have seen. Like I said, trying to be patient, and trying not to pass judgement until later in the season. Hope it works out, as I really like Frank as a "guy". I like Pagano as a "guy" to though.
    • I watch a ton of football. Easily more than any sport. Both college and NFL. And when I'm watching, I'm always looking at it from a play calling perspective on both sides.    I agree that all coaches have head scratchers now and then when it come to play calling. Reich however seems to have more than an occasion one or two. Hines up the gut is the easy one to point out this year. It wasn't just a one off, it was a pattern.    Many of the guys above you mentioned have a long history of successful play calling. Reich does not. He's only called plays in LA and here. He was canned in LA after a couple years because his O was bad and likely least balanced in the league. His play calling here certainly hasn't stood out. Like I said, I've cut him a lot of slack due to circumstance. Not saying he needs to be fired or anything like that. I am saying that he has contributed to performance issues as much as anyone though. This isn't a matter of just execution.
    • I agree, the biggest thing about that first half was just a lack of intensity,  like they all stayed up too late the night before or something.   Maybe they hate zone coverage as much as we do lol!!!
