I accidentally hit spectate on this game thinking I could Sim once in it(nope).

Anyway started off good show just let it play out

TB came out 1st possession and Jones II took a TD run 50+ yards on 2nd play of game. NO had a 3 and out. TB came right back down to score making it 14-0 with still 10:21 left in 1st quarter.

Saints got on the board with a TD run from Murray at 7:10 mark. Make TB punt on following possession. The Saints tied game up on a Kamara TD run at end of quarter.

14-14 after 1st

Teams defenses locked in for 2nd quarter. Teams traded 2 FGs under 5:00 mark of 2nd.

17-17 Halftime.

Defenses were still locked in for 3rd quarter. NO scored on Thomas TD catch at 6:51 mark, for only points of the quarter.

24-17 Saints after 3

Saints drove deep on first drive of 4th, but were held to a FG, which was blocked. Remained 7pt lead.

TB scored on a Howard TD reception with 10:50 left to tie the game. Couple possessions each with TB kicking a 24yd FG to take the lead with 2:55 remaining.

Saints drive down and throw a TD pass to Thomas with :35 left. However it is reviewed. Showed clear evidence that 1 of Thomas feet was out of bounce.

AFC Wild Card Playoff Game:

Patriots

@

Colts

This game was great. Revenge for years past. Stidham was out of his element.

Colts drive  down to Patriots territory, but I decide to try a 58yd FG Blankenship career long is 56yds. Kick came up just short.

NE couldn't so anything with good field position. Colts get the ball back and drive down and take the lewd on a TD pass to Pittman Jr with 3:02 left in first quarter.

7-0 Colts after 1st

Again NE just couldn't get anything going against us. Running or passing.

Colts score 10pts in 2nd quarter. 48yds FG by Blankenship and 4yd TD pass to Doyle with 1:13 left before halftime.

17-0 Colts at halftime.

Colts receive the kickoff and have a long drive that culminates into a 2yd TD to Campbell. Drive took half the quarter. Snowball effect from here on out. Buckner was the beast we traded for. Patriots were not a formidable foe today. Just kept checking down to much also.

24-0 Colts after 3rd

Colts add 10 more points in the 4th. Taylor 4yd TD run and another Blankenship FG. Dominate performance, stats will probably reflect that.

Final Score

Colts 34 - Patriots 0

Taylor couldn't be stopped today, ran down hill all day. Mack struggled to get going. Had a couple good runs late, running out clock, to increase his numbers.

Yeah that was a tough loss week 16.

I know it runs deeper than that though.

Think they might of had better chance at beating the Chiefs than the Bills though.

Following possession Ravens are driving but Jackson throws a ball into double coverage and its knocked in the air and intercepted by Rhodes.

Colts are able to come down and score another TD on a catch by Doyle with 1:13 left in the half.

Ravens get ball back, have all 3 TO's left. They drive into colts territory and attempt a 57yd FG with :16 left(out of TO, now). Tucker misses FG, it leaves :11 on the clock and ball on 47yd line. I decide to throw a quick pass to try and get into FG range.(still have 3 TO's). Nice crossing pattern to Campbell gets me to a 54yd attempt with 6 seconds left. I decide to run 1 more play up the middle, Taylor picks up 5yds, TO. Lineup for 50yd FG with 1 second left in half....Its good.

24-14 Colts at halftime.

Baltimore has a long drive to start 2nd half, Colts were able to hold them to a 29yd FG though. Baltimore cuts lead to a touchdown with 8:04 left in 3rd.

Colts are able to come back and drive deep into Ravens territory and score a TD on a Taylor 13yd run with 3:49 left in 3rd.

31-17 Colts after 3rd

4th started with good defense on both sides. Punters were big in the 4th. Ravens pinned Colts @ the 7yd line with about 9 minutes to go. Colts pick up a couple first downs and end up punting, but Sanchez pins Ravens back on 5yd line with around 5 1/2 minutes to play.

Baltimore comes back with a drive where they picked up a 4th and 13(reviewed and upheld, it wasn't catch though). Then next play a 19yd TD pass to Snead IV with 1:27 left in game. Cut lead back to 7pts (95yd drive)

Ravens elect to kick an onside kick, Campbell recovers. So I have possession around 45yd line. Ravens still have a 3 TO's. They use them all, then on 4th down on the 40 yard line with around 1:10 left. I punt the ball and Sanchez pinned then on the 3yd line, 1 minute left and no timeouts.

Next play Buckner sacks Jackson for a Safety, to top of his Player of the Game performance. He was so disruptive in all aspects of the game(pass rush, run stopping, screens(blew 2 screens up, in 4th)). Lived in their backfield as stats will reflect.

Final Score:

Colts 33 - Ravens 24

Indianapolis is onto Kansas City next week to play for a chance to go to the Super Bowl.

This was long post. Wanted to get a little better detail in there for you couple people watching. :spit:

AFC Championship Game:

Colts

@

Chiefs

What a game it was.

Colts drove down on first possession and kicked a 37yd FG to get on the board and take an early lead at 10:01 mark.

Chiefs have a long drive of their own, but it ends on a 6yd TD catch by Watkins at 4:42 mark.

7-3 Chiefs after 1st

Colts continue drive from 1st quarter and end up kicking a 41yd FG to cut the lead to 1 with 12:50 left in 2nd quarter.

Chiefs dive back down deep, but Colts are able to hold them out of end zone. Chiefs kick a 19yd FG to go up by 4 with 6:25 left in 1st half.

Colts drive down and use up the rest of 1st half clock, kicking a 39yd FG with 17 seconds remaining.

10-9 Chiefs at halftime

Chiefs get the ball to start the 2nd half. They drive deep into Colts territory again, only to be held to a 25yd FG with 9:34 left, to extend lead to 4 again.

Colts get the ball back and strike quick, Hilton takes a slant route and goes 73yds for a TD with 9:00 left in the 3rd, to take a 3pt lead.

Chiefs drive down again, Buckner gets a sack to make it a longer FG(windy day, no easy kicks.) Butker makes the 49ydr despite the wind, to tie the game back up, with 3:43 left in the 3rd.

Colts move the ball a little bit, but are forced to punt.(in bad winds). Sanchez comes up clutch again and pins them at the 4yd line, with around 30 seconds left in quarter.

Justin Houston sacks Mahomes in the end zone for a safety with 16 seconds left in the 3rd. Big play.

18-16 Colts after 3rd

Colts drive after the kick off after safety. Long drive, using all the clock I can to shorten the game. TY catches another TD with 9:20 left on the clock, to go up by 9pts.

Chiefs were driving but RYS comes up with big INT. Then Colts milk clock  then take down to 25 seconds while Chiefs use all timeouts and kick FG to increase the lead.

Final Score

Colts 28 - Chiefs 16

Colts defense really came up big. Only allowed 1 TD to the Chiefs. I wasn't to confident coming into game, the Colts were coming out victorious.

Looks like Colts are headed to the Super Bowl to have a rematch with Packers, who hung a 50 spot on then in regular season.

Taylor is Super Bowl MVP.  Could of been Buckner as well, as he had another dominate game too. Well worth the 1st round pick we spent on him.

What's your guys thoughts on the season?

I really didn't think I would come on and win it all(especially after not playing for like 7-8 months), just trying to have a little fun.

Hope you guys had a little enjoyment. I definitely plan to do a more in depth season once the new Madden comes out.

2020 Regular Season Passing stats.

Phillip Rivers played great all year. I would say at least 4-5 of those Int's came at the end of the games, when I was trying to make something happen. Completed 70% of his passes.

Wish I could of gave Eason more time, but most of my games were still undecided in the 4th quarter.

I had a play call percentage of:

44% - Pass

56% - Rush

I'm sure we will have more attempts and yards in real life, but I think the TD numbers and INT numbers will be around there.

Taylor started off the year a little slow, but as time went on, he got comfortable and eventually took over the #1 spot. Taylor was big RB, that's why he ended up with more TDs. Crazy thing about Taylor is he is huge and legit same speed as Hines. Scary thoughts for opposing defenses.

Mack played great all year as well. If we didn't have a talented back like Taylor with him, he probably would of been pushing 2,000yds. Lol. Would of probably had a way different Pass vs Run scenario too.

I had a play call percentage of:

As I said in QB post. Most likely we will have more pass attempts and less run attempts in real life. Should be a fun year to see what this tandem does.

Allowed probably close to 30 sacks, as all wasn't given to an OL.

Quite a few sacks were my fault as well, holding on to ball to long.

All this talk about sacks, when they cleared the way for (2) 1,300yd+ RBs. :funny:

I think we can all agree, this line is going to have a big year.

If anyone would be happy with a 56% Run vs 44% Pass, it would be these guys.

Outside of Hilton the ball was spread pretty equally throughout our targets. There was quite a few drops throughout the year, wish I would of kept track of them, but whatever. Campbell was more consistent in regards to him and Pittman Jr. They both played well though.

RB receptions were dominated by Hines, as it should be. When Pascal came in, he always seemed to make the play that was thrown to him.

Doyle and Burton was a solid TE combo. I would say Burton probably led the team in drops.

Pass vs Run%

Pass - 44%

Run - 56%

As I've stated in the 2 above groups. I expect these %'s to be closer, increasing receptions, yards and TDs with this group. Overall though I think numbers are pretty good and well spread out.

Can't believe there wasn't any reserve stats on the DL. That's ok for this purpose I guess.

Overall thoughts.

Buckner was a beast on the interior line. All kinds of disruption.

Other Sack numbers wasn't very high, but we had a ton of tackles for loss.

Houston led the way with 17. We lived in other teams backfields.

26 sacks along the DL, hopefully we have more in real life.

49 tackles for loss is pretty outstanding. Our Run defense was very good for the most part. Couple big games in there, but they held their own.

Leonard and Okereke were my nickel down LBs, so they got the most action.

They both produced, seemed to feed off each other out there. Run defense was much better when we were in base defense and Walker Jr was on the field to. Nickel formation is the way of the future.
