Where's the KICKER choice?

It, at least, may be the most wide-open position.

Because the folk hero Blankenship would win this poll walking away. :)

I would add it but the editor won't allow add ons. Kicker is a big

competition position, you are correct Wool.

1. Kicker between two young studs - one with 1 year of pro experience in McGlaughlan versus Blankenship.

2. Wide Receiver between Fountain, Patmon, Johnson, and Dulin for the 5th (and 6th spot if they keep a 6th).

3. Strong Safety between Donald Rutledge, Rolan Milligan and Julian Blackmon (mid season).

4. Left Defensive End between Autry and Lewis.

5. Backup Linebacker/Special Teams between Glasgow, Adams, Franklin and Speed.

6. With Nix aboard I believe they have a decision to make between a 4th TE or a 4th RB - if we go TE I like the UDFA Farrod Green and of course Wilkins at RB.

7. Backup oline - Clark, Donnal and that Canadian UDFA Carter O'Donnell at Tackle and Patterson, Pinter and Eldrenkamp (SP?).

Like every off season, lot's of interesting narratives around competition.

TE2 - MAC vs Burton

X2 - Pascal vs Patmon

Slot2 - Pascal vs Dulin

Z2 - Fountain vs Johnson

RB4/FB/TE3or4 - Wilkins, Nix, Burton (IMO, only 2 survive, and Nix is the odd man out).

CB1 - Rock vs Rhodes (I fully expect Rock to take CB1, and Rhodes starting CB2)

NT - Stewart vs Day

Depth LB/STs - Adams vs Zaire vs Glasgow

DE and DT will be an opponent/game-plan and down specific rotation all year. I expect

Running downs - Houston/Buckner/Stewart or Day/Autry

Passing downs - Houston/Autry/Buckner/Turay

Goal line - Buckner/Stewart/Day/Autry

DE - Banogu, Green, and Muhammad all have something to prove this year.

DT/DE - Lewis is likely on a short leash.

K - Chase vs Rodrigo

Returns - I think Hines (31y avg on PRs) and Dulin (30y avg on KRs) are the best options here. Can Rogers be a 3rd electric option? Should be fun this year.
