its not clear who is starting in Miami but id take Tua or RF over him.  Personally i think Tua is going to be a good starter, and Ryan is a play maker

If we don't skip a beat if JB steps in, and he plays like last year, then the Rivers experiment was a failure.

Poilian was fired because he didn't have a good backup for Peyton when he went down.  Ballard is not going to make the same mistake.  No way Eason is the backup until he proves he's ready. Which hopefully is only a year away.

Rooney rule? Where did you come up with that and how is that relevant to Brissett? 

Truthfully I don't understand why you started a thread when Brissett has been talked about to the point of nauseating for everyone.

JB is no longer the top back up in the NFL.

With Foles, Winston, Mariotta, Dalton and others, JB may fall out of the top 5.  His character helps him, but his salary hurts him.

 I don't think that Ballard would trade Brissett for a 7th round pick under any circumstance. 

Brissett is worth a lot more to this team as a back up QB than what any 7th round pick would bring.

After this season he will not be under contact with us so you are correct, who knows what's going to happen.

It will all play itself out.

There are so many factors that will come into play it's hard for anyone to guess.

IMO Newton does not fit into what Ballard has preached about since he has been here. 

Newton has also had surgeries on his shoulder and his foot in that last year and like it or not that comes into play.  His style of play does not compute into a long term type of player.
