I'm honestly gonna say like 13-3 or 12-4 I mean unless Rivers is just completely shot and sucks we should be pretty dang good. we have the advantage of playing a bunch of pretty terrible teams and of the better teams we play a few im not even sure they will be good like the Pack and Pitt. the only teams we play that I see as seriously being tough is Baltimore and Minnesota

There is several games that truly are a “any given Sunday” type game. I’m predicting 12-4.

Here’s to hoping Rivers will be better than Jacoby like I think he will and also to hopefully not seeing Reich abandon the run when it’s clicking(Steelers game last year).

I'm with you. I think as long as Rivers is more of a shade of his usual self and not the turnover machine he was last season, 7-0 with that schedule actually seems possible to start the season. Vikings are our first major roadblock in theory, but they lost their top wideout and may be starting two rookie CBs. I like our chances at home. Then the next major challenge is the Bear away IMO. Bear are heading in the right direction. But they still have a glaring question mark at QB. I'm just going to optimistically but the odds in our favor.

The only change I would make is having us beat the Titans when at home and having us lose to the Packers. Still going 11-5. Here's to high hopes!

Last year we all had the Colts losing at K.C.  and winning at home vs the raiders and dolphins.  Realistically this year barring major injuries they should be 5-1 going into the bye.  10-6 should win the division.   This year coming up you know they will lose a game they should win and win a game they should lose  ( hopefully at Pitt )

I am not good at picking individual games, but if this team can start protecting the home turf, going 6-2, 7-1 and not losing to the weaker teams on the road...

Then the Colts should win 10 or more per season for years to come!

If not, there is going to be some heat come down on this front office and coaching staff very very soon.

Ballard seems to have put together some outstanding talent on this squad, now it's got to start showing up in conference championships and playoff wins.

I like 10-6 this year and home playoff win.:colts:

    • You think the Ed Dodds you see in edited clips here is the same as the Ed Dodds who interviews with teams?   I don’t know you or anyone would think that?      He’s very much respected around the NFL which is why multiple teams ask to interview with them most every year.

    • Yeah... Richardson needs players who can separate and who can get open deep. IMO "give the inaccurate QB a contested catch receiver with large catch radius" is one of the tropes that hasn't proven to work well. Contested catches have about 50-55% success rate even with the best of contested catch receivers and with relatively accurate QBs... now if you think AR's accuracy is not good, drop that rate even more. The best way to give a relatively inaccurate QB better chance to complete passes is to give him a WR who separates and and who is open so the QB would have more of a margin for error to throw the ball a little behind or ahead or a little higher or lower than ideal. (we are not talking about uncatchable balls here... those will be uncatchable for anyone really). In that regard, one thing I would agree about is - we need WRs who have good hands and have good ball skills.   And this is ignoring that AR has indeed been pretty good with his accuracy on passes at intermediate and long range. His biggest problem coming into the league was the short stuff and he was already showing improvements in that deparment before he got injured.    And Worthy is the WR who created the most separation from anybody in this draft :
    • Richardson  accuracy  on deep balls is his strength.  Hence why you pair an elite deep threat in worthy.
