My thoughts exactly. He just sounded unprepared. I have no strong feelings against anything he said, there just wasn't much substance.

  Yeah it's not happening. Even if a deal was worked out for it to happen after June 1st, the Chargers would save $6m this year, but have like a $95m dead cap hit next season. If traded today on the draft, the Chargers would have a: 2024 Dead Cap: $108,502,700 2024 Savings: $-89,157,025

  No, but I would love that! Is that true? Where did you hear that? I don't think that will happen. I heard that trading Herbert would result in a huge dead cap hit for the Chargers, that would make it nearly impossible to keep or sign other players.
