Ballard for two guys that will contribute day one.

By the end of today, Goodell will be reading the picks from his bed

Buckner is a freakin all-pro. Relax.

Wow.  Here we are at 13.  OUR pick.  We were afraid our players would be off the board, and traded the pick.  And here it is:  Lamb, Jeudy, Wirfs, Kinlaw are ALL on the board.  Just wow.

I'm fine with Buckner

Like Wirfs, but since AC is back for a while, I like who we got.

Buckner after Donald and Cox, 3rd best DT in entire league.

No draft pick can rank that high in the league, well worth it

Tampa trades up one spot.. likely getting Wirfs to protect Brady?

Has to be Wirfs. They have Evans and Godwin at WR, so I don't see them trading up for one.

    • Yeah I think the Rams will be a tough game. I think we match up well against the Seahawks, were much superior than them in the trenches and our defense will set up to take away the deep threats posed by DK/Lockett. We'd be confident of both our running game and stopping their running game.   The game against the Titans in Week 3 in Nashville will be the tone setter for the AFC South. Weeks 8-10 were at home to the Titans, Jets and Jags, we should win that stretch 3-0.    I prefer to get the harder teams first, to avoid slip ups early on. A bit like the Jags Week 1 last year, I'd prefer to play these teams later on if they are out or almost out of the playoff hunt. As I said, hopefully we can get through the first 12 games in reasonable shape and in the hunt. Looking at the last 5 games, Texans, Pats, Cardinals, Raiders, Jags, I'd expect the Texans, Raiders and Jags to have nothing to play for, so 3 wins there. Cardinals could well be out of the picture too by Week 15.
    • That’s what happens with any team that gets to play the NFC East. That’s why I feel the Bills and Bucs will be the AFC and NFC #1 seeds.
    • Although going .500 through the first 8 games wouldn't be too bad.  Games 9 and 10 are easier with the Jets and Jags.   But then we have the Bills and Buccs.   Tough schedule for us this season.     I read where, based off of teams rankings currently, that Tampa Bay has the easiest schedule.
    • I’d say our first 8 games with 2 vs Titans, 3 vs NFC West contenders and 2 vs a pesky Dolphins team and an AFC contender in Baltimore will determine our divisional fate. We cannot afford a bad start of .500 and hope to recover, IMO. Wentz and company HAVE to hit the ground running.
    • A couple years ago it was actually a decent, fun game.  But mostly it was unwatchable.   The NFL did good dumping that fourth game.
