Ballard for two guys that will contribute day one.

By the end of today, Goodell will be reading the picks from his bed

yup. Buckner is absolutely a better short to medium term solution. and very safe.

good situation for both teams in very different cap situations.

For the Falcons, gonna say Chaisson here. Wouldn't be surprised if they went Swift of CD though.

Didn't they lose both Freeman and the EDGE.? Still have Tak.  I say the RB.

Best pick so far?

I'll say Jeudy

Diggs

I think they need DE more than CB, but wouldn't be shocked if they went Diggs. I'm sticking with Chaisson here. They need RB too in a big way too.

their biggest needs are DE, CB, iDL, and RB.

I think they go Chaisson as their DL needs help more than anything.

Yeah, too early for the RB, but their O struggled when Freeman declined.  They need the CB.

TG is a big ? IMO. I think they'll go RB mid rounds to be honest.

I am surprised they went Terrell though. They needed CB but thought they'd go Diggs if they went CB.

    • Bobby O needs to step up his game this coming season. I don't think Walker is coming back ( he'd be a better fit in a 3-4 IMO), and the Colts need better play if he is going to keep that starting role. He consistently seemed to be a step slow in coverage, and that is supposed to be his strong suit. Hopefully, it was a sophomore slump, but if it continues into year 3, Oke will be a backup very quickly.
    • Stitches....    to your very good point about how to know which performances are real-ish and which are not?   I read a good story earlier this month, I think from Sports Illustrated, basically saying the scouting community is freaking out trying to figure out that exact question.    The loss of the combine eliminates the apples to apples comparison that everyone had.   Plus the loss of face to face meetings...   plus the same set of doctors examining all the players.   All gone.  Medical exams will be done by local doctors.   Personnel people don’t know what to do?   Or didn’t as of early Feb.   I think this increases the chances of scouting error for all teams.   Perhaps dramatically?   I think we could see more Day 1 and Day 2 misses than ever before.   But that’s just my guess...
    • My first thought is LT or DE, but would say that at least so far the early draft of Rock at CB hasnt gone well   We still dont have an answer long term at CB, (Maybe Tell steps up into the role)   I do believe that our CBs will look better if we have a little better rush on the edges......   With at least one glaring hole on the OL and one glaring hole on the DL, it will be interesting to see how CB addresses this draft   Does he stay with his mantra of "lines first" or does he get more of a pure BPA, which could include WRs, TEs, S, and CBs that  would surprise many (or some) fans
    • actually i think we should move on from Wilkins and i know Ballard could fine a better upgrade for him
