Mims at 9?

Edwards is good.... but a better prospect than Mims?

This year's crop of WRs sounds so deep that even within the Top 3 there is debate depending on what each team is looking for in a 1st round WR.

Jefferson at #4 seems to be a widely held consensus.... but after that it truly is a scramble of opinions.

One thing is for sure....if an NFL team needs help at the position, they'll have no excuse this year.

And hypothetically.... if we were still sitting at #13 and the top DTs were gone... my order for the Colts would be Jeudy - Ruggs III (very close 2nd) - Lamb.

I went back and reviewed Edwards' info, though I admit I haven't watched tape. He had a knee injury in high school; he hurt his knee again at the end of last season; he broke his foot in February training for the Combine, so he didn't participate there and hasn't had the opportunity to work out for anyone.  He also does not have a first round grade from what I could find..... I'm not saying that he isn't a talent or shouldn't be drafted Day 2. I'm just saying putting him up as the fifth best receiver in the draft is a big stretch. He has to be perceived as a potential injury risk, and with all the talent at WR in this draft, that puts him further down the list. I doubt he gets picked until the second half of the second round. Of course, JMO.

Watch the tape. He does it all. He had a lot of buzz in the offseason because of his tape.

He seems to have great 50/50 ball catch..... but

from his highlights, there are college CBS draped all over him in most cases

Does he get decent separation?  I guess I need to watch more tape...
