Steelers released Javon Hargrave, they need to keep their defensive line their strength. Justin is versatile to play any interior position, and they can use him in different ways for the situations.

I'm torn to pick a CB here, but a top tight end might be lost while doing so. In the end, the higher potential to become a great NFL player wins, relative to the competition at the position.

Sorry, I didn't get any update in notifications, should have checked your profile to see if you have created any new post. Growing pains of being new here. I'd you have time in the morning, let's start.

With the first overall draft pick, Cincinnati Bengals select

Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

Redskins throw a curve ball and select Justin Herbert QB

Everyone is completely and utterly stunned in the crowd.

Boooooos ring down from the crowd mainly for Goodell but 1 fan vaguely yells "Cut your hair Bieber" as the Oregon QB approached the stage as shocked as anyone.

Kiper: I'm in a state a shock right now because  I love Herbert but idk how you pass on a generational talent like Chase Young here.

McShay: Ya I agree! This could potentially be a great opportunity for the Lions who are next up at 3!

Matt Patricia hates to be told what to do, whom to select in his turn. He even more hates privileged Super star players in his team..

Now that has made you all sit upright in your chair and not slouch back reading this forum unprofessionally,

Matt Patricia and the New Michigan DePatriciot Lions select

Yosae Chung

Wait.. Let me turn off my anagram finder..

Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State

The New York Giants turned a corner recently taking Daniel Jones and sticking with him but it's time to get that man a weapon.

With the 4th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the New York Giants select Jerry Jeudy WR Alabama

The Chargers could take Love here but take their chances on him dropping to shore up their OL.

With the 6th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the LA Chargers select Jedrick Wills

I got caught into the trap of alternate offense and defense picks...

Jaguars don't respect veteran stars, they're sick of having a team of great players and now Ngakoue has tweeted today openly to trade him away.

Only players that Jaguars can keep now are the rookies who wouldn't ask for much... Well, at least for few years.

But they have two top defensive guys available now, and it's a tough choice. I guess they'd have to go with the position where the drop-off is greater after the top graded player.

Jaguars from Jacksonville select with the 9th overall pick,

Jeffrey Okudah, Cornerback, Ohio State

Jets new front office seems to have a plan. Unlike past few that made head scratching decisions. But letting Robby Anderson go might indicate they may be just doing the same stupid things, just in a different way. They have now forced themselves to pick position of need, but the BPA and needs met here in this draft.

New York Jets select with 11th overall pick in the Draft,

CeeDee Lamb, Wide Receiver, Oklahoma Univ.

Indianapolis Colts should be picking here, but they must be happy getting a proven talent at this position. SF are happy to have got extra first round pick and to top it off get a younger replacement at the position. WIN-WIN

SF 49ers select with 13th overall draft pick,

Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

Denver Broncos let Chris Harris go, which is a hair-puller move. They got AJ Bouye who seems to be past his prime and slot CB Bryce Callahan who is coming off IR in the first year of their contract. They needed to replace first round bust Garrett Bolles, but CB is the BPA here.

Also, Dan has robbed all the top OTs in this draft!

Denver Broncos select with 15th overall draft pick,

Kristian Fulton, Cornerback, LSU

Dallas need Cornerback and my inside sources said Dan is not going to pick CB for falcons, but he did.

Never gonna hear from that inside source again.

Dallas still address the secondary with the top player in the position, by selecting with 17th overall draft pick,

Xavier McKinney, Safety, Alabama

Raiders have a lot of needs, but they need a dual threat in the receiving group for the offense to have any teeth in the fight. They select with the 19th overall draft pick,

Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver, LSU

That's 3 LSU picks from me already!

Eagles have as many holes as their City had in the night of Super Bowl victory, and lot of horse crap too...

But top WRs are taken and they don't reach for the position here, unlike the reputation of their fans.

So, Eagles select (maybe a reach?) with 21st overall draft pick,

Kenneth Murray, Linebacker, Oklahoma University.

Patriots and Belichick have been here before, wondering about their QB position. But that was some 2 decades ago.. evil coach looks to  summon his powers and transform this player in one offseason to an elite QB..

New England Patriots select with 23rd overall draft pick,

Jordan Love, Quarterback, Utah State

Seahawks traded their key player last draft to get a first round pick, which they tried to get an edge rusher replacement that didn't work out as planned. They got Clowney but couldn't pay him to keep. Pete Carroll continues to try improve their pass rush, but he may have got here what he needs. A hybrid Linebacker, and Edge rusher, who they can align in a multitude of ways to pass rush, defend run or drop back into coverage.

With the 27th overall draft pick, Seattle Seahawks select

Zach Baun, LB\EDGE, Wisconsin

Titans had to let go too many of their own free agents and veterans, especially in secondary and trenches. Replacing Casey and Johnson in the interior defensive line stands out, as much as the Cornerback position.

With the 29th overall draft pick, Tennessee Titans select

Neville Gallimore, Defensive Tackle, Oklahoma Univ.

That's 3 OU picks for me, need to find someone in LSU sooner before the Sooners overtake purple and gold.

San Fran takes an aggressive, intense, lengthy and fluid ballhawk corner. Just a perfect match to play alongside Richard Sherman. He has to become more consistent, patient and refined in his techniques but being in the same film room and practice with Sherman could be the best thing that could happen to him for his development.

With the 31st overall draft pick, San Francisco 49ers select

Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

The Indianapolis Colts are up and could go several ways at 34 here.

The key here is getting an immediate impact starter.

With the 34th pick in the NFL Draft the Indianapolis Colts select Tee Higgins WR Clemson

He adds great size to our unit and will become Rivers favorite target.

Matt Patricia likes to get players with high upside and room for growth. After trading away Darius Slay, he needs a student more than a star. This corner is explosive, with elite body control to stick with receivers, would fit right in.

35th overall pick, Detroit Lions select

Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn

    • The covid IR rules are helping this team a ton. Imagine if they were the old IR rules. We would of had to cut some players because guys like Burton would not of went on IR. I hope they keep some of these rules because teams can keep more of their players instead of having to cut them.
    • Yep. He was loved by every analyst too as a single high FS, and looked good his first year with the Colts. He'll be a bargain for someone IMO if he can stay healthy.    What's also weird though, is that Flus hinted that he wanted to play more man last year. Aside from the KC game, didn't seem like it happened much. And we drafted both Rock and Blackmon from heavy man systems. I think Willis was too. I just don't understand to be honest what Flus is really all about yes. Was he waiting to get a 3T and pressure up front to go more man? He has that now. And if not, not sure I understand Ballard's draft choices as they seem to be converse to Flus's scheme.
    • With his injury history, I doubt there are going to be many teams out there offering to dish out money like he'd be a guaranteed starter, and I would doubt many teams are going to be throwing long-term deals at him.  He has to prove he can stay healthy for a 16 game season, something he hasn't done in 4 years (7 games, 14 games, 13 games, <2 games).     So, it wouldn't be too surprising (IMO) if Ballard offered him a 1 year deal with a low guarantee and some incentives built in... but he probably knows he's a better fit in a different scheme and can get a similar deal elsewhere where he's more suited to play.     It will be interesting... if JT/Wilkins/Hines prove they're a formidable trio, where would Mack fit in the puzzle if he came back to Indy next year... I'd think he'd be able to go elsewhere, get offered more $ and have a better chance to get more carries.  I could be wrong, but my sense is that JT is going to establish himself a true #1 RB in this league before this year ends.  I understand his wear may be an issue considering how many miles he put on in college, but so far (in limited time) Wilkins has shown he can be a solid supplement to him.  Mack has already shown the league he can be an upper-level back in the NFL, so I don't think he'll have too much trouble finding $ if he is passing all his physicals and looking good in his workouts.     TJ Green or Laron Landry... I don't think Hooker is even close to either of those guys.  Hooker produced in college, he was producing very well (being talked about DROY) as a rookie before he got hurt.  He hasn't been a bad football player here.  He doesn't get thrown at much.  He's playing a scheme that isn't entirely suited to his skill set... but he has shown he can play.  TJ Green was a raw guy who didn't produce near the level as Hooker did in college and never showed anything in the NFL (another Grigs bust) and Landry was a roided out freak who was shown the door by the league because he couldn't pass PED tests.   Hooker, if he can stay healthy, can play in this league.  That is his major concern, is his health... he is an above average football player who could be very good if he's in the right system.     Yes, that was a weird scenario all around.  Ballard, keep in mind, didn't get to choose his coach.  He was basically stuck with Pagano.  Ballard knew what scheme he wanted to run on D, which was different than Pagano.  Pagano was talking about Hooker as 'the next Ed Reed' (who played under Pagano when he was a DC in Baltimore).  Hooker really fit the Pagano mold.  I would not be shocked, if Pagano is still in a defensive coordinator position going into next year that Hooker went to whatever team Pagano was affiliated with, TBH.
    • Agreed.  He came to the Colts to play with Luck, make a lot of stats, win a lot of games, and make a lot of money.  When Luck quit, and he had to play with Brissett, none of those things were going to happen anymore, and he knew it.  The light just went out of his eyes, and he didn't really care to be here anymore.
    • I can absolutely see the loss costing us positioning in the playoffs. Hopefully it was just rust (execution and game plan) and we'll start to roll. There really is no making up for a loss to a team ranked 32nd (at the time). It is what it is, and you just got to move on. Perhaps beating TN on the road might make up for, but honestly TN doesn't look all that great right now, and I already thought we'd fair well against them.   As far as the whole O vs D thing, simply put, they are symbiotic. A good D helps the offense by giving them opportunity and field position. A good O helps the D by keeping them off the field.
